I should have probably found a way to collect data and show some stats on the rise/fall of local talent pre and post franchising. This was something I frankly didn't think really needed a ton of explanation or digging into since it was a fairly minor point and a video digging into the benefits and downfalls of franchising is worth it's own separate platform.

On the salaries point, I don't try to find any extra information. Certainly nothing is handed to me in that regard as a caster and I don't go looking for it. I probably get salary info from the same places you do (RIP ESPN).
There is more breakdown that could be done on style-of-imports, to be fair. For example, right now no self-respecting LCS or LEC team imports players who don't speak English anymore. This used to happen. It was bad. They never worked out. The coaches/GMs did a bad job vetting and understanding language barriers. So through that lens, by default LCS teams need to be English-speaking, unless you could get together a roster like huhi+Pobelter, any other Korean-American or Korean-Canadian players and some more Korean imports who may not speak English. That would absolutely move the landscape around.

At 3:30 you talk about no local talent post-franchising. This is actually very easy to research and I'm sad you didn't. I know you went for a quick vlog-style post, but just saying "Well I'm pretty sure the number of imports only went up" is not exactly great argumentation. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that you didn't substantiate your claim in any way.
10:10 has a fundamental misunderstanding of economics. The demand for top talent is strictly lower right now because it is impossible for an LCS team to have Rookie, TheShy, and JackeyLove on the same roster. There are only so many truly S-tier pro players out there. Only so many Fakers, CoreJJs, etc. but only 20 of them can ever be in the LCS. The demand is lower. This lowers their price. Removing the import restriction would RAISE the price of S-tier pro players because then Team ...
Alright, looking forward to the next 30 paragraphs long blog post with meaningless graphics talking about "bootstrap time", where you guys pat yourselves on the back again instead of an actual fix for something so simple that's been a complete nuisance for over half a year then.
We use prioritization when making decisions, fixing client startup time was a big pain for players across the globe, as was end of game , and champ select. We focused on improving bigger player pains vs. smaller things that dont effect the game loop. Our blog posts are also very transparent, if you take a look, you can see we have reduced a large number of memory leaks directly impacting players with a reduction in client crashes due to out of memory failures. Now we are working towards upgrade our chromium version which will continue to reduce crash rates, and provide a better client experience.

Maybe in ARURF tho :P ? Still not a fan as even though this doesn't eliminate ALL risk (that'd be silly to suggest), it still eliminates a good margin of risk involved. I agree Enchanters needed help tho, and this was a creative way to not Buff Ivern in the process haha. We'll see how it shakes up! Also! Damn you guys are actually considering this then? Imo Enchanters having to take a risk to Ward felt right; an exchange of risk for information. Here's hoping this doesn't lead us back to "Better Bot Wins" Meta. Not that I think this is THAT drastic that it'd singlehandedly put us there. Just not a fan of the direction this might take us. Have you explored other possible Enchanter buffs? Not asking for a replacement, just more curious then anything. Edit: I guess I should have clarified but my comment isn't in reference to the Meme Pictures in this Post, but rather to the actual +300 Range on PBE.
We considered 300 additional warding range, not the global that's going on here :P. What we've found in testing is that Enchanters still need to take risks, unless they want to ward every single unwanted brush on the way to where they're going, and still have vulnerability to tank engage in and outside of lane.
We did explore some other stuff but this was found to be the most promising. Just looking to help Enchanters in high MMR and maybe see some more in pro, not flip the meta.

There's another undocumented buff to Muramana, Shock can deal damage to multiple enemies. Now that is a juicy buff.
