[2023] Is there a known issue with 'The Path of the Champions' and the matches just randomly freezing/pausing at the beginning?

Hello --

I've recently come back to LoR and started to really understanding and enjoy the Path of the Champions mode. However as of late I've been having this random yet somewhat frequent issue where when a match begins regardless of whom has the token the match never seems to move forward. The game isn't frozen but the game refuses to let the match progress.

The only 'work around' i've been able to do is if I have a champion with a high enough level to use the one time 'revive' which lets me continue.

Multiple times I've made it to the final match only for this to happen completely killing my enjoyment for the mode. So much time spent only to have no choice but surrender.

Is this something that has been a known issue, or am I somehow managing to make this occur?

I have recordings if needed, just unsure what to do. The mode is incredibly fun but I'm wearing of wanting to keep playing it if this is a reoccurring pattern.
