On the one hand, it’s good they’re listening to the community.

On the other hand, do you not have any ideas to throw out there? Like even one? Do you want us to just crowdsource the idea work for you?

Thus is the eternal struggle.

We do have some really cool ideas cooking up, but we also think it's really important to check in with the Community and figure out if we're on the right track.

It can be pretty feelsbadman to share something really aspirational if it gets scrapped or doesn't work out for one reason or another.

On the other hand, there are a lot of people who want to share some of their awesome ideas and we wanna create a place for them to be able to do so.

I wonder if this ancient spirit has a contraption in his library that will tell us when the next solar eclipse is.

I made it this far. :)

Thanks for writing up such a great and detailed post. I’ll be mulling it over.

The rule is basically that all options of a choice card like Stance Swap must qualify for Senna's aura in order for it to apply to the top-level choice card

Are you for certain that champion tags were a thing during Rising Tides? I looked through the entire list of Foundations and Rising Tides champions, but couldn't find any other invisible champion tags. The sole exception being debatably Longtooth

Yeah, searching across the usage of the field, most of it was on Rising Tides cards. "Improvise" appeared to be a thing on some Rising Tides cards, but was clearly a dev name at the time (since the real Improvise vocab term only game out fairly recently)

Thank you :D and from Dan Felder, now I feel special xD

I don't have an image, but basically we folded blank sheets of paper and used the folds to create the shape of a card, we got 8 cards out of every sheet and made like 4 decks in total. When it was time for me to leave, my cell mate kept the cards and I hope the next cell mate he got plays the game with him, it passes the time incredibly well when you're in a cell the size of a bathroom 24 hours a day xD

That’s fantastic. Thanks for playing our game! Hope you crush it in the tournament, and we keep making a game worth your effort. :)

A custom tag of "maokai" was added to the card, specifically for searching in deckbuilder. Don't ask why.

But really it was probably done by a designer because these cards work well together. It appears like we stopped doing that after the Rising Tides expansion, except hilariously for the tags "punchman" and "susan"... but I'll let y'all see what cards those are for :)

Very new to the RIOT ecosystem, only really got into it last year, and by far my favorite thing about you guys!

Seems like such an awesome company to not only play it's games, but to work for as well!

The office has a genuine Willy wonka vibe too. New hires don’t believe us at first when we tell them about the secret rooms, bilgewater brew, on campus arcades, or the smoothie lagoon. :)

If I already got your attention, a quick question: after reading the recent devblog, I have some ideas for feedback. What's the best way to make my feedback reach you guys? A post on this sub, a dm, a support ticket, etc. .

Thanks (:

Post on this sub if you’re already familiar with it is a good way. Feel free to message me if you’d rather it be private. App reviews are paid attention to as well if it’s for the game overall. Lots of other options but those are probably easiest for a Redditor

Hmmm...biased you say? Whatever could be the reason for that? I believe your opinion is as factual and unbiased as it gets 🤔

I actually just wrote a document for a new hire as guidance and was very pleased to get to write that Riot absolutely takes “player experience first” seriously and that we should always be asking in meetings if this decision - whatever it is - will be making the game a better player experience overall. It’s awesome to be part of that.

I'm obviously wildly biased, but one reason I joined the team was that LoR is one of the easiest games to get access to a fun collection of cards quickly I like working on games that are super player-focused. :)

We were the glorious ones, those 10-20. :)

But for serious, in regards to Vlad, I've always felt like his "signature ability" is Sanguine Pool more than anything else, and I'd like to see the advent of certain new champ spells being completely unique to their dupes (e.g.: Evelynn, Kayne) see Sanguine Pool represented.

I love unique champ spells, when I first played the game I assumed all champ spells would be only usable by having a second copy of the champion and thought that was such a cool idea. Making new unique champ spells for some old champs could be an interesting way to buff or alter them
