It is a multi-pronged approach, and we do attack from both sides – we are cutting off paths for bots to abuse while we work to remove them from the game, and folks participating in RMT are also punished. Severity of bans ranges from temporary to permanent, and purchased gold is indeed removed. You can go negative

Appreciate the continued reports and folks sharing their servers and regions; it is extremely helpful.

Some players may see improvements by taking the following steps:

  • Open the Lost Ark Application in your Steam library.
  • Open Settings, select Manage, and then Browse Local Files.
  • Open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
  • Launch the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe file as administrator, and run it.
  • Select Repair.

If you try this method, please make sure you restart your computer and do not have the game or program running before repairing. It is also not a fix that we’ve seen work for everyone, but will have limited success for some players as we continue to work on a wider solution.

This is still being investigated by the team – for folks who are confused by not having this issue in other regions, it is due to EAC having issues with the South America region in particular, which is why a majority of these reports are coming in from players on those servers. This is not an indicator of a flag on your account.

This is not the result of a flag on an individual’s account, but an issue with how EAC is interacting with the specific region at the moment. This is why a majority of these issues are originating from the South America servers. It is not an indicator of any flag or ban, and your account is safe despite the current inability to connect.

If you are seeing results from adjusting ports, it would also be helpful to ensure that ports 18887 – 18903 are opened as these are used by EAC. However, this is not a guaranteed fix that will work for all folks and the team is still working through the ongoing issue.

This is something that we have shared feedback on for several months, and the every other month class release was is the decision that was made in terms of what the class release cadence would be. The feedback is still being passed along, as are the reactions to the announcement, but there are not plans to change it at this time and I would rather be forthcoming with players about that in this situation.
