Deleted my other post that apparently came across as me just bragging about my 6-0 deck and was downvoted to oblivion, but I had a point to make and I'm surprised there isn't more outrage about this:

The draft challenge is the first high-stakes limited event that we've ever had on Arena and it's totally not worth it for people like me who only play draft. So, the people who in theory would love an event like this and have been waiting for it for years, are actually disincentivized from playing in it. I only entered the Draft Challenge because I wanted to keep on playing BO3 drafts and definitely had a lot of fun, but now I have these 40 packs that I'm never going to use. And on top of it, I feel really bad because I probably took them away from people who wanted them for their historic decks.

There's a chance that this is exactly what WotC wanted to happen in this event. Next time, please don't give us packs as rewards in a high-stakes Limited event. This is not what drafters want at all. The prizes should be primarily gems, like in normal drafts.

Imagine the outrage if the historic metagame challenge paid out in draft tokens. This is exactly that.

Appreciate the feedback. We'll reevaluate the reward structure for the next time we run a Draft Challenge event.
