[2023] Why can’t I listen to music on my phone while playing MTGA? Is this intentional?

See title. Not sure why MTGA feels the need to inhibit my phones functionality for their app. Are you kidding me? Surely there’s a workaround or something?

“If you have headphones that have a “play” shortcut you can do that after you start the game. Same issue every time but that’s the only workaround I’ve found”
