About three weeks ago I enrolled in a Premier Draft for AFR and Drafted my Deck. u/B Terrasque, obviously. The magnificence of the Krydle into 10/10 Hasters was apparently too much for Arena to handle, though, and after completing my picks I transitioned over to a "Waiting for Server" screen.
I never got to Build my sweet deck.
However, I wasnt worried yet! Not my first time seeing this, and figured it would right itself.
After waiting three minutes, I restart the client... I see the initializing screen and then it blips to: Waiting for Server.
Uh-Oh.
Cut to that night, and I submit a support Ticket explaining my issue. The rep responds by crediting my account 10,000 gold and closing the ticket before getting my response or further information.
So I open a second one. Again, I'm credited 10,000 Gold and the rep suggests some actions to try. It should be noted, I'm no computer whiz, but I had already tried everything I could think of, Reinstalling, flushing DNS, logging in on my phone (both on and off wi-fi) logging in with a different account on my PC (yep, it worked)
I explain this to my rep and they suggest to Enable detailed logs.... in the client... that I can't get to?
Then the rep ghosts me.
The next day I ask for an update on that thread and a wholly new representative responds AGAIN telling me to try the things I've already mentioned above IN THE SAME THREAD. After pointing that out, I was assured that "My ticket was being escalated to the proper person to review my account", and they closed the ticket.
I made one more request yesterday for help and after enrolling a savvy friend, i was able to use REGEDIT to enable the logs reps had asked for. I submitted them and was ultimately met with the message "We wont be able to solve your issue, sorry, please make a post about it in the bugs forum so we can help other folks in the future"
So what happens to the thousands of hours I have into this? The hundreds of dollars??? Hello? Anyone? Beuhler??? (Randy, are you there?!?!)Did a little poking around, and it seems that there are some other folks who've experienced the same issue. I've included Screengrabs of their issues as well.
It's completely asinine that Hasbro would leave the customer care for a sure a cash cow in utter disrepair.
I literally cant think of anything else to do but make a post here in hopes that it gets a developer's attention. I'm extremely soured on the whole experience and as someone whos played for 11-ish years and made a significant investment of time and money into the game, I'm more apathetic than ever.
