This feature actually does exist. What you need to do is use the View Battlefield option at the end of the game, then mouse over the facedown cards you want to look at. #wotc_staff

We'll note the bugfix in our release notes, so keep an eye on those

Does this have anything to do with you implementing Timeless Dragon on the client? :P

Yes, actually, in a truly ridiculous cascade of interactions.

We added Painscycling 2 to the token on Timeless Dragon (to avoid blue text on the token in-game). This token got included in Tuesday's Alchemy: Ixalan release, though the dragon didn't. MH2 (where Timeless Dragon comes from) gets built before NEO or LCI does. So the token of Timeless Dragon was the first instance on Plainscycling the rules engine encountered. But tokens don't get full rules built for them, so this ended up breaking Plainscycling 2 (but not Plainscycling 1, Swampcycling 2, etc.)

Or, as one of our engineers helpfully explained:
You may be wondering why and how plainscycling, a seeming well established and functional game mechanic, would unexpectedly stop working. Well, it turned out to be less of a problem of what happened and more a problem of what hasn't happened yet

You see, when entities outside of time start manipulating subjects trapped in time, you get some very un...

Sorry about that! We had a glitch with yesterday's release, but it's fixed now.

Strangely it’s just the Plainscycling that isn’t working from what I hear. I used swamp cycling this morning so know that works.

Even more fun, it was just Plainscycling 2, so Eagles of the North (with Plainscycling 1) still worked. Complex game is complex.

It looks like there's an issue with the Steam client making purchases. We're investigating and will solve it as quickly as we can. In the meantime, the standalone PC client (or mobile clients) should allow purchases normally

Will timeless dragon be historic legal? u/wotc_jay

Yes, it will. A little off-target for the joke here, but it should be fine in Historic

The format of this event is Alchemy, with an emblem with "The first spell you cast each turn has cascade."

Some Ixalan dinosaurs stomped all over our text for this event, but we're working to restore it. Thanks for your patience!

Still expected today, but we're running into some unexpected problems that are delaying things.

I realize I'm the 80th person to ask this today, but due to the recent unban in Pioneer this morning, is there any possibility of fast-tracking Smuggler's Copter onto the platform? It's a big gap between digital/paper that makes playing Explorer online much less attractive. Appreciate it.

No plans to announce there, but we're aware of the gap and actively discussing the best way to close it

So wait, are the Fetchlands also banned in Historic Brawl or just regular Historic? I assume just regular Historic but I've seen Historic Brawl included under the "Historic" umbrella before. As annoying as Fetches are, I have a few 3 color decks like Isshin that desperately need better mana.

As for Timeless, I probably won't buy in as I suspect that within less than a week there will be some unbeatable tier 0 turn 2 instant win combo deck discovered, but it's cool to have the format available. I think I got my fill of the no bans format but my interest might grow as more cards are added to Arena and more deck options open up. Wish it didn't include Alchemy though.

Fetchlands will be legal in Historic Brawl. Calling it "Historic" Brawl has always been a bit off, since cards like Bolt, Ragavan, etc. are legal there too. Clarifying the naming there is on our list.

What about sets from Arena beta? Are they going to be included in timeless?

The full AER, KLD, AKH, and HOU cards are no longer in the game, and have not been maintained or QA'ed. They might come one day, but will not be around at launch

I hope The One Ring and Bowmasters are considered paper cards and we will get unnerfed versions.

Yup, anything with a printed version will use that original version, so The One Ring, Bowmasters, Minsc & Boo, etc.

A big thing is will they refund 3 wildcards for a card they restrict? Like, for example if we craft ragavan and they decide it is too good so they restrict it, will we get 3 wildcards back?

Edit: From the article:

Cards on the restricted list will be limited to only a single copy in the combined main deck and sideboard. When a card is added to the restricted list and is no longer legal in any other format, players will receive wildcards for each copy of the card in their collection greater than one. For example, if a player owns four copies of a card that is added to the restricted list, the player will receive three wildcards for that change.

There will not be wildcard reimbursement for the three card restrictions made with the launch of Timeless.

Yes, that's exactly how things will work

There was a brief window where, effectively, mobile players were sent to an alternate dimension. This is back to normal now, and everyone should be connected back to their proper account data.

The dimension still exists, just once again properly sequestered away from players. No database records were harmed as a result of this.
