[2023] I am extremely disturbed by the Kang offers

I was excited to unlock Kang. I was also excited to drop 50 bucks to Scopely for 100 Kang shards. No problem, no questions asked about the kit, none of that... The 50 bucks would have been in Scopelys pocket by now.

I am now seeing that that's not an offer? The offer to buy a hundred Kang shards includes teal orbs and costs an additional 10 bucks???

I am at a complete loss. I'm not sure what to do. I just wanted to buy a hundred Kang shards for 50 bucks. For context , I've been playing this game for 4 years 33M TCP... I was not planning on quitting anytime soon, I was just going to keep giving Scopely money until the day I die.

The way I see it, I have a couple choices.

1. Quit
2. Buy the 180 Kang shards for $100 (this is a slippery slope)

I wouldn't mind as much if scoply just made the new price for new characters 60 bucks to unlock. However, the way that they shoehorn teal orbs into the Kang offer just has me absolutely blowing and effing gasket.
