1. The largest single adjustment in regards to access modifiers likely took place in 1.6.0. Additional adjustments have been and are made based on community requests. Other than changing access modifiers, some code is also moved to models.

We are working on some stability fixes that will hopefully be pushed out relatively soon. If you would like to continue your current campaign without delay, you may consider opting into the 1.1.6 steam beta branch - assuming that was the last stable version for this save (right click the game in library > select properties > betas > v1.1.6).

The cheat UI is for Xbox and Playstation. It provides a limited selection of options in contrast to the console that is available on PC.

The most frequent stability issue that we have observed from player submissions (thank you to everyone that uploaded a dump) is related to villager parties (and possibly caravans) capturing hero prisoners (nobles) and donating them to their settlement dungeon when they enter a town of their faction.

The crash occurs because these types of parties don't have the capacity to handle the influence reward that is given for this action. We are working on a hotfix for the crash and will investigate how these parties managed to receive these prisoners in some but not all games (the implementation specifically prevents them from doing that normally).

It is not guaranteed that this is necessarily the issue that the OP is experiencing - but there is a reasonable chance.

As per the FAQ
Can I do anything to continue playing with the mods I like?
  • Modders can deeply interact with and influence the game - which is great but also means that the work they do can be dependent on many different parts of the base game in ways that we don’t control or know about. There is little that we can do to outright prevent such issues while the game is in active development.
  • You can use the Steam beta system to opt into a prior version of the game that works with the mods you like.
    Steam Library > Right-click Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord > Properties… > Betas > Select the version you want.
  • The “Compatible Version” tag in the Steam Workshop item allows you to filter and pick mods that are marked for the game version you choose.
  • Modders can also determine version compatibility through the mod files which will warn you when launching mods that aren’t compat...

doesnt matter what "real fighting skill" they have. so the peasant in the final round could be much better then the lord, you had bad luck to fight in the first round.
Just to be sure - If 2 characters face off with one-handed swords and 1 has 100 while the other has 200 in one handed skills, the one with higher skills will always be better. So while the bonus applies regardless of base skill, the base skill (for the equipped weapon) still matters.

Steam branch names can't be edited after they are created. You can see your actual game version on the lower left of the game launcher (where you select between SP / MP / Digital Companion).
