[2023] NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Update – June 15th, 2023

Dear players,
The servers of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will be suspended for maintenance from June 14th, 2023 at 23:00 (UTC) to June 15th, 2023 at 03:00 (UTC). We suggest you log out in advance and enter the game again after the maintenance.

The details for this update are as follows:

Brand New Content
I. Dragon Boat Festival
Event Time: From June 15th, 2023 Update to June 29th, 2023 at 20:00 (UTC)

Event Rules: Sign in daily to get the Festive Zongzi. The number of Festive Zongzi you can obtain will increase after signing in for 7 days. Open a Festive Zongzi to randomly get a reward: Treasure, Legendary Outfit, Showdown Souljade Gift, Reckoning Coin, Spectral Silk or Tae. By signing in for multiple days, players can get Reckoning Treasure, Regular Treasure Choice Gift and other rewards.

Hero Adjustments I. Zai
Optimized the performance of some weapon attacks under her ultimate [Chain Scythe] and [Chain Scythe: Suppress].

Combat Adjustments
I. New mechanism: Focus Damage Reduction
During combat, if your Blue/Purple/Golden Focus you generated by the strike is not interrupted (for example, the Blue/Purple Focus may be interrupted by a common attack, and Golden Focus may be interrupted by a Blue Focus strike or common attack), it grants you a 30% damage reduction. However, hero skills, ultimates, or weapon attacks under ultimates will not trigger this Focus damage reduction.

Souljade Adjustments
I. Staff Souljade
Slightly reduced the stagger time after hitting an enemy with [Ocean Parter].

II. Bow Souljade
Adjusted the effect of [Fire Arrows]:

1. Reduced the damage of the second stage charged shot for the Bow. But the arrows can ignite enemies, dealing consistent damage over time.
   
2. Decreased the reduction in damage for the second stage charged shot and increased the continuous burning damage.

In-game Adjustments I. In-game Quest Adjustments
Adjusted the dropping time of the [Valiant Challenge] Quest to 150 seconds after the match starts, and the required surviving time to complete the quest has increased to 4 minutes.

Out-game Adjustments
I. Custom Room

1. Added new spawn locations.
   In "Custom Room - The Bloodbath - Holoroth - Gameplay Settings - Customized Spawn Locations", three new locations have been added: Realm of Yang (Solo), Realm of Yang (Duos and Trios), and Martial Artist Solo.
   
   These map options are only available for the "The Bloodbath - Holoroth" mode in Custom Rooms, allowing only two teams to enter the game.
   
   
2. New mode: Martial Artist Solo
   This mode is similar to Bloodsport, allowing customization of victory conditions for each round. Each round consists of 1v1 matches with two players per group, while the remaining players can move freely and watch the match in the spectator area.

II. Narakapedia
Added a new entry for Spirit Well in Narakapedia.

III. Mode unlocking level:
The unlocking level for the weekly rotation modes (Shadow Surge / Through the Fire) has been adjusted to level 10.

IV. Face Customization
The image of QR code for in-game face customization is now attached with NARAKA logo.

Showdown Adjustments
I. Combat Adjustments

1. Optimized the position and timing of the flash effect of blue Focus strikes for Copperclad Staff and Copperclad Hammer.
   
2. Optimized visual and audio effects for Copperclad Staff's ranged hammer throw and the Omen strike [Thunder Staff].
   
3. Adjusted the damage multiplier for Copperclad Staff's ranged hammer throw and the Omen strike [Thunder Staff] from 4.76 to 3.08.

II. System Optimization
There is a new display interface when you get an Epic or Legendary Souljade for the first time.

Feature Optimizations
I. Client
Optimized the efficiency of certain high-frequency logic executions in the client.

II. In-game Adjustments

1. Optimized the performance of Spirit Well.
   
2. Optimized the in-game performance of Yueshan's Ultimate [Journey of Blades·Divine Seal].

Bug Fixes
I. Hero-related Bugs

1. Fixed an issue with Valda Cui's skill [Haze: Teleport], where the appearance of bubbles was not synchronized properly.
   
2. Resolved a problem with Zai's Ultimate [Chain Scythe] and all its variants, where in certain situations, the [Chain Link] skill couldn't be released when Ensnared Soul was fully charged.

II. Showdown
Fixed the inconsistency between the actual Astral Aegis damage bonus brought by Souljade [Nether Nightmare·Aegis-break] with its description.
