The details for this update are as follows:

The century-old furnace in Northwestern Fortuna has forged numerous gold and stones, also fostering the metal power passed down through generations of the Liu family.

Lyam Liu never believes in natural talent; he knows that only a hundred times of practice leads to perfection.

The Tenacity Treasure is priced at 360 Gold. Open this treasure for a chance to obtain rewards like the Kurumi Extreme Outfit [Sakura Angel] and the Dual Halberds Extreme Skin [Startling Reach].
  • While the Outfit [Sakura Angel] is equipped, recovery effects, jumping, and using Kurumi's Skills or Ultimates that heal continuously will create a cherry blossom effect.
  • While the Skin [Startling Reach] is equipped, special effects will appear when standing still or while walking slowly, and when charging [Cloudbreaker] attacks.
Minimum Guarantee:
  1. Players are guaranteed to receive at least 1 Red (Extreme) reward during the process of opening at most 100 Treasures. This can be triggered multiple times.​
  2. Red (Extreme) rewards will not repeat until all of them have been obtained.
    Wishing Legendary Reward: If you draw an Extreme cosmetic, you can set a Legendary cosmetic which will be guaranteed when you draw a Legendary cosmetic next time. Times of guarantee can stack, but you can only set 1 cosmetic each time.

Event Rules:

  2. Complete Event Quests to obtain Azure Rings. A new quest can be unlocked only after completing the current one. Quests can only be completed when they become available.
  3. Consume Azure Rings to redeem rewards.

IV. Limited-time Event: Forged Legend Event Duration: May 8, 2024 20:00 (UTC) - Jun 5, 2024 20:00 (UTC)
Event Rules:
1. Players can complete eight different types of quests to earn event points Auric Emblem and unlock event rewards.
2. The event's quests are spread over four weeks, with a new quest stage opening each week. When progressing to the next stage of quests, the quest count from the previous stage will be carried over.
3. Completing quests in each stage will reward event points Auric Emblem.

Hero Adjustments I. Tianhai
  1. Shortened the recovery frames for Skills and Ultimate stomps in Vajra state. Optimized the direction and height of the airborne effect from Vajra's stomp.
  2. Relocated the weak spot for the Ultimate [Titan's Call: Restore]. After transformation, the weak spot will be fixed to the head.
  3. Removed the Skill [Divine Bell: Blast].
  4. Removed the Ultimate [Titan's Call: Support].
//Dev Note: Previously, the stomp move of Titan's Call posed a low threat to enemies. To address this, we've adjusted its recovery frames and enhanced its power. This allows Titan to execute combos of horizontal strikes and grabs, increasing its threat in close combat.

II. Tessa
  1. Slightly increased the speed for [Tail Strike: Trap] to generate the Tailglow Zone after Foxfire bullets hit the environment.
  2. Redesigned the Ultimate [Enchant: Group Prey] in the following ways:

    • It now consumes 55% Rage to release, and the shockwave from [Enchant: Group Prey] no longer ignores dodge.
    • Enemies must approach and interact with the Soul Vessel within 6 seconds to reclaim their soul. Failure to do so will result in Health loss. This loss significantly restores Tessa's Health (originally the Ultimate variant [Enchant: Bite]'s effect).
  3. Extended the duration for Rage regen inhibition following the cast of [Enchant] and its derived Ultimates from 11 to 13 seconds.
  4. Reduced the invincibility duration for the skill [Tail Strike]. The invincible state now doesn't persist throughout the entire move.
  5. Removed the Skill [Tail Strike: Repel].
  6. Removed the Ultimate [Enchant: Bite].
//Dev Note: Tessa's Ultimate is now being cast too frequently during battles, so we've slightly extended the Rage regen inhibition period to bring its usage more in line with our intentions.

III. Hadi
  1. Redesigned the skill [Mechanical Arm] in the following ways:

    • Now Hadi can aim and launch the mechanical right arm, pulling hit enemies to him.
    • Hold the Skill button to aim, during which a left-click (horizontal strike button) triggers the default effect.
    • When the mechanical arm reaches its maximum distance or hits an enemy, right-click (vertical strike button) to pull Hadi to its position and trigger an explosion.
  2. The Ultimate [Aerial Ascent] now also deploys the Mechanical Cube (originally the Ultimate variant [Aerial Ascent: Rescue]'s effect).
  3. Adjusted the Ultimate [Aerial Ascent] and its variant [Aerial Ascent: Blaze]:

    • The duration has been adjusted to 25 seconds for both.
    • Slightly reduced the recovery frames for the 1st and 2nd stages of charged attacks in the flight state.
  4. Adjusted the damage dealt by the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stages of the charged attacks from [Aerial Ascent] in the flight state from 1.8/2.7/3.2 to 2/2.8/3.4.
  5. Adjusted the damage dealt by the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stages of the charged attacks from [Aerial Ascent: Blaze] in the flight state from 1.8/2.7/2.8 to 2/2.8/3.2.
  6. Removed the Skill [Mechanical Arm: Pursuit].
  7. Removed the Ultimate [Aerial Ascent: Rescue].
Weapon Adjustments I. Greatsword
  1. Increased the attack range of the first move of Rockfall Slash.
  2. After executing a horizontal or vertical strike, or a slide horizontal strike, a long press on the horizontal strike will now initiate a horizontal strike charge.
Souljade Adjustments I. Spear Souljade
  1. Shortened [Erudition]'s startup frames, changed the focus level of the two stages of follow-up strikes to Purple Focus, and reduced the damage multipliers from 1.73*4 to 1.5*4.
  2. [Spear Storm]'s startup frames can now be interrupted by dodging.
II. Upgradable Souljade Adjustments
  1. Reduced the Spear Souljade [Erudition & Spear Storm] upgrade condition to 4 times.
  2. Reduced the Repeating Crossbow Souljade [Venom Tip & Barbed Bolts] upgrade condition to 10 times.
  3. Reduced the Repeating Crossbow Souljade [Curative Bolts & Healing Bolts] upgrade condition to 10 times.
  4. Reduced the Pistol Souljade [Quick Charge & Thundercall] upgrade condition to 10 times.
  5. Reduced the Bow Souljade [Fire Arrows & Target Lock] upgrade condition to 3 times.
  6. Reduced the Musket Souljade [Slowshot & Sunwing Shot] upgrade condition to 3 times.
  7. Reduced the Melee Souljade [Assault·Smolder] upgrade condition to 6 times.
  8. Reduced upgrade condition of the Nunchucks Souljade [Trigger & Lock Breaker] to 1 time.
In-game Adjustments I. Feature Optimizations Increased the queue size for Heroes Assemble to 6 players.

II. Hot Potato Counter
  1. Optimized the victory conditions, with the number of rounds won now playing a pivotal role in determining the winner.
  2. Introduced a Final Round feature: when only two players from opposing teams are left, the playable area will be reduced.

III. Collection Levels 1. Expanded the collection level certification ranks and updated the new rank icons. The current ranks:

Out-game Adjustments I. Star-Collection Auto Restyle
  1. On the Star-Collection Restyle screen, click the "Auto Restyle" to show Auto Restyle settings.
  2. After you have configured your Constellation Locks, Restyle Objectives, Restyle Items, and confirmed these settings, the system will automatically Restyle accordingly.

    II. Pack interface has been updated with recommended packs and optimized browsing experience.
    • Lock Constellation: This allows you to lock Constellations. Locked Constellations cannot have Restyle Objectives. You can also choose to automatically roll back to the previous state. Once enabled, each time the Restyle fails to complete any objective, it will automatically consume a Rollback Orb to roll back once.
    • Restyle Objective: You can set Restyle Objectives for each Constellation. Each Constellation supports up to 4 selectable objectives based on its unlocking status and attributes. These include: No Objective, Unlock Constellation, Legendary or Extreme Number, and Extreme Number.
    • Restyle Item: You can view and purchase Restyle Items, and decide whether to automatically consume Spectral Silk or Gold to purchase items when they are insufficient.
  3. During Auto Restyle, you can adjust the speed to [1x Speed] or [2x Speed].
  4. Upon completing any objective, Auto Restyle pauses for timely adjustment of Restyle Objectives. Once all preset objectives are achieved, Auto Restyle concludes.

Showdown Adjustments I. Preview of the Changes to Souljades Recast In future updates, we plan to make changes to the Souljade recasting system (specifics will come in future update notices). Some of the general changes that we intend to make are as follows:

The recasting of Souljades will no longer be restricted by the attributes of the material Souljades.
Instead, Epic and Legendary Souljades will be decomposed into a general material (in different quantities), which can then be used for recasting.

There will be 2 types of recasting: [Attribute Type Recasting] and [Attribute Value Recasting]. Players can choose any attribute on a Souljade and recast its type or its value.
During the new system's initial phase, the old and new recast systems will coexist for a limited time.
We hope that in the upcoming seasons of Showdown, players can have more time to experiment with various Souljade builds with the new recasting system, where we aim to make the process more affordable and reduce the influence of luck, ensuring more promising results from recasting. We hope you can feel more at ease when trying out the new effects from the new Souljade recasting.

II. Combat Adjustments
  1. Reduced the staggering duration from [Axe Evil-Ent]'s Blue Focus lunge strike.
  2. Extended the startup frames for non-Focus melee strikes of [Bow Evil-Ent] and [Ocean Yaksa], along with [Bronzoid Swarm]'s Blue Focus melee strikes.

III. Stage Adjustments
  1. Adjusted the attributes of enemies in Eventide Ember·Normal, and the monster lineups for the second and third strongholds.
  2. The three strongholds now appear in the order indicated by the guide.

IV. Yama's Abyss Adjustments
  1. Adjusted the monster lineups in some Hard-level Zones, slightly reducing the challenge difficulty.
  2. Tweaked the algorithm of the Rift Dealer selling Souljades. Now, in most cases, the Rift Dealer will sell at least one of the Souljades that the player carried during the preparation phase.
  3. Increased the number of shop areas and Hard-level areas in the Void Space.

Function Optimizations I. Client Optimizations
  • Intel XeSS has been updated to version 1.3, optimizing AI models. This will offer both more detailed reconstructed images and better anti-aliasing, while simultaneously reducing image retention and making images more stable.
  • Newly added graphics levels: Super Performance, Ultra Quality +, and Native Anti-Aliasing
    This allows for better performance while maintaining visual quality. This expands the number of graphics cards supported by XeSS, meaning that all graphics cards that can support Shader Model 6.4 can also use XeSS.
  • Adjusted FSR's algorithm and parameter configuration, significantly improving FSR2 and FSR3 display effects. The improvement will be most pronounced at low resolutions.

II. In-game Fixed the issue where using a controller to cancel the cast of a Hero's Ultimate skill may accidentally trigger the use of the Weapon Repair Kit.
