9s Edition as with any brand new weapon
11s there's a lot to learn and I'll be
12s giving you mostly everything you need to
14s know starting with the very Basics you
16s can perform a one two three combo with
18s any combination of horizontal and
19s vertical inputs with your third attack
21s becoming a focus attack an uppercut can
24s be performed by crouching and following
26s it up with a vertical attack this is
28s very useful for combos then we have the
30s Crouch horizontal attack jump horizontal
32s and jump vertical that's all for basic
35s attacks now for Focus attacks charging
38s horizontal Focus will allow you to
39s maintain Sprint while immune to Grapple
41s stagger but keep in mind that you can
43s still get stunned by enemy attacks upon
45s releasing your focus you get a whirling
47s slash into an uppercut that then can be
49s followed up with a vertical attack
50s finisher the vertical Focus attack can
53s be released at the first flash for a
54s barrage of attacks and the second for an
56s even bigger barrage this has great range
58s so definitely use that to your advantage
60s whenever you land a vertical Focus
62s attack I recommend immediately jumping
64s into a horizontal attack to catch the
66s enemy dodging if you want to gamble on
68s your enemy not parrying though you can
69s opt for a horizontal follow-up which
71s will grant you a focus attack finisher
73s this finisher can actually be canceled
75s with a grapple so keep that in mind for
77s Mix-Ups moving on to Soul Jades we have
79s dual wielded weapon sap whirling slash
82s benthic descent and dragon like might
84s dual-wielded weapon sap Alters your
86s counter punish from Two Hits to 1 and
88s heals you based on the damage dealt
90s since we're talking about Perry's I'll
92s mention the optimal Perry combo which
93s for dual halberds is Crouch horizontal
96s into vertical the whirling slash Soul
98s Jade Alters the last vertical strike of
100s a one two three combo it's higher
102s damaging with a longer stagger and
104s allows you to follow up with another
105s vertical strike or a ranged weapon
107s benthic descent takes effect after a
109s charge horizontal when you activate that
111s vertical finisher it also provides
113s higher damage and longer stagger
115s allowing you to extend the combo with a
116s vertical attack or a ranged weapon
118s Dragon like might Alters the horizontal
120s Focus attack itself making it do extra
123s damage and covering a super long
124s distance you are periable at any time

128s wisely one of those wise ways might just

170s inputs verbally but the combo notation
172s should be pretty self-explanatory by now

185s combo we know that third attack is a
187s focus attack but if you charge it you
189s can delay it beyond the enemy parody
191s next after I land a horizontal attack
194s you see there's a wall not too far away
196s and since I'm worried about the uneven
197s terrain messing up my grapple combo I
200s opt for the juggle combo in this
201s situation a grapple combo is totally
203s safe and you can even see a side benefit
205s was that because I was charging Focus
207s the third party hitting me didn't even
209s interrupt the combo you don't always
210s have to complete the combo sometimes
212s it's worth just using that second
214s vertical attack to send the enemy flying
216s when you want to reset pretty simple
