s | hey everyone it's Jeff of the dead and |
---|---|
s | welcome to naraka 101 dual halberds |
s | Edition as with any brand new weapon |
s | there's a lot to learn and I'll be |
s | giving you mostly everything you need to |
s | know starting with the very Basics you |
s | can perform a one two three combo with |
s | any combination of horizontal and |
s | vertical inputs with your third attack |
s | becoming a focus attack an uppercut can |
s | be performed by crouching and following |
s | it up with a vertical attack this is |
s | very useful for combos then we have the |
s | Crouch horizontal attack jump horizontal |
s | and jump vertical that's all for basic |
s | attacks now for Focus attacks charging |
s | horizontal Focus will allow you to |
s | maintain Sprint while immune to Grapple |
s | stagger but keep in mind that you can |
s | still get stunned by enemy attacks upon |
s | releasing your focus you get a whirling |
s | slash into an uppercut that then can be |
s | followed up with a vertical attack |
s | finisher the vertical Focus attack can |
s | be released at the first flash for a |
s | barrage of attacks and the second for an |
s | even bigger barrage this has great range |
s | so definitely use that to your advantage |
s | whenever you land a vertical Focus |
s | attack I recommend immediately jumping |
s | into a horizontal attack to catch the |
s | enemy dodging if you want to gamble on |
s | your enemy not parrying though you can |
s | opt for a horizontal follow-up which |
s | will grant you a focus attack finisher |
s | this finisher can actually be canceled |
s | with a grapple so keep that in mind for |
s | Mix-Ups moving on to Soul Jades we have |
s | dual wielded weapon sap whirling slash |
s | benthic descent and dragon like might |
s | dual-wielded weapon sap Alters your |
s | counter punish from Two Hits to 1 and |
s | heals you based on the damage dealt |
s | since we're talking about Perry's I'll |
s | mention the optimal Perry combo which |
s | for dual halberds is Crouch horizontal |
s | into vertical the whirling slash Soul |
s | Jade Alters the last vertical strike of |
s | a one two three combo it's higher |
s | damaging with a longer stagger and |
s | allows you to follow up with another |
s | vertical strike or a ranged weapon |
s | benthic descent takes effect after a |
s | charge horizontal when you activate that |
s | vertical finisher it also provides |
s | higher damage and longer stagger |
s | allowing you to extend the combo with a |
s | vertical attack or a ranged weapon |
s | Dragon like might Alters the horizontal |
s | Focus attack itself making it do extra |
s | damage and covering a super long |
s | distance you are periable at any time |
s | during this animation though so use it |
s | wisely one of those wise ways might just |
s | be for running away like you can see me |
s | doing here as for a basic light attack |
s | combo though Landing a horizontal attack |
s | will allow you to float into an uppercut |
s | wait until you hit the ground and follow |
s | it up with a vertical attack into a |
s | Crouch horizontal attack and final |
s | vertical |
s | the timing on Swap combos is pretty |
s | tight but after your focus attack jump |
s | and press your Swap and attack inputs |
s | nearly simultaneously these can net you |
s | some really high damage |
s | as for some character based combos Viper |
s | and Yodo can make especially good use of |
s | this for some extremely high damaging |
s | combos I won't walk through all the |
s | inputs verbally but the combo notation |
s | should be pretty self-explanatory by now |
s | to Showcase a couple examples of using |
s | the Dual halberds in game we're Back to |
s | Basics playing off of a one two three |
s | combo we know that third attack is a |
s | focus attack but if you charge it you |
s | can delay it beyond the enemy parody |
s | next after I land a horizontal attack |
s | you see there's a wall not too far away |
s | and since I'm worried about the uneven |
s | terrain messing up my grapple combo I |
s | opt for the juggle combo in this |
s | situation a grapple combo is totally |
s | safe and you can even see a side benefit |
s | was that because I was charging Focus |
s | the third party hitting me didn't even |
s | interrupt the combo you don't always |
s | have to complete the combo sometimes |
s | it's worth just using that second |
s | vertical attack to send the enemy flying |
s | when you want to reset pretty simple |
s | clip here but this just showcases |
s | someone not anticipating the long range |
s | of the vertical Focus attack |
s | here's a use case of the horizontal |
s | Focus finisher being put to use as well |
s | as a key jump horizontal after the |
s | vertical Focus to finish the player |
s | in this clip you can see the chase |
s | potential of the charged horizontal it |
s | has great range and will even track |
s | someone's Dodge if you release it at the |
s | right time |
s | with that you should have just about |
s | everything you need to know to start the |
s | journey towards mastering the Dual |
s | halberds thank you for watching enjoy |
s | the amazing new update and I hope to see |
s | you in a game |
