s | hello everyone my name is osk and today |
---|---|
s | we're going to be talking about Showdown |
s | the new campaign mode freshly released |
s | for naraka blade Point Showdown is a new |
s | PVE mode where you can face down |
s | different monsters and challenges with |
s | up to two friends at the same time each |
s | of you will be able to pick a different |
s | character in order to take the fight to |
s | omnius the main villain of this story |
s | speaking of characters let's talk about |
s | them now there are currently six |
s | characters available at the time of |
s | making this video each character has a |
s | fixed skill and ultimate for you to |
s | choose from as well as a fixed melee |
s | weapon and range weapon furthermore they |
s | each come with a character level and a |
s | character sense which will determine |
s | your strength in the new mode by |
s | upgrading a character's level you can |
s | increase their base stats as well as |
s | unleashing new abilities in the game |
s | mode for example at level 4 Viper ning |
s | will learn Phoenix blast and at level 6 |
s | she will upgrade her armor to Epic |
s | upgrading your character level over time |
s | is of course important but the most |
s | important system is the character since |
s | since is upgraded by collecting and |
s | upgrading different soul Jades you can |
s | gain souljades by completing weekly |
s | challenges as well as completing the |
s | modes themselves you can equip up to six |
s | Soul Jades at one time per character and |
s | you can upgrade it Soul Jade by |
s | selecting them and choosing the upgrade |
s | option from there you can feed different |
s | soul Jades into the Original Soul J to |
s | increase its sense level which will |
s | determine your strength in each mode in |
s | fact each level has a different sense |
s | level that's recommended to it if you |
s | are below the recommended sense level |
s | you will deal less damage and take more |
s | damage from each of the mobs in that |
s | level and it's vice versa if you have a |
s | higher sense level then you will deal |
s | more damage and take less damage from |
s | the mod in chapter 1 there are three |
s | levels the first of which is even tied |
s | Ember we will be going over the |
s | objectives to win the level the |
s | different monsters that you will face |
s | and any differences that you will see in |
s | the hard mode versus the normal mode one |
s | key difference you'll notice between |
s | normal and hard difficulty is that |
s | sometimes the hard modes will have an |
s | extra Omen attached to them Omens are |
s | special conditions that will apply to |
s | the enemies that you face in the hard |
s | modes these can include extra |
s | devastating attacks for some of the evil |
s | ants or they could be field effects that |
s | will damage you over time you can check |
s | the details of these Omens if they are |
s | not random by going to the level select |
s | screen and seeing what kind of Omens are |
s | possible the objective for Eventide is |
s | pretty simple you must work together |
s | with your team to gather three |
s | runestones and then head to the westward |
s | cliff and defeat the fiery monster these |
s | runestones are collected from purple |
s | chests that will open once you defeat |
s | enough evil ants around their vicinity |
s | for those of you that don't know evil |
s | ants are the official name of the |
s | monsters that you will be facing the |
s | first type of evil lints are these |
s | smaller skeleton guys and they possess |
s | both normal attacks and focus attacks |
s | the second enemy type are these larger |
s | evil ants and they possess in astral |
s | ages and astral Aegis is like an extra |
s | shield on a mob that prevents the hit |
s | stun of normal attacks and focus attacks |
s | the only exception to this is in any |
s | attack that has gold in Focus will be |
s | able to stagger someone with astral ages |
s | once an enemy's astrologist is depleted |
s | they will be stunned for a short time |
s | which will allow you to attack for free |
s | you will also deal more damage to mobs |
s | that don't have an astral ages the next |
s | enemy type are these little flyer ants |
s | they can shoot poisoned range attacks |
s | which are very easy to avoid normally |
s | they also die in one hit which should |
s | make it very easy to take them out the |
s | next enemy type are these int archers |
s | they of course can attack from long |
s | range but they also possess close range |
s | normal attacks and on the harder modes a |
s | golden Focus attack the next enemy type |
s | are these Kamikaze bombers and they will |
s | leap with a purple Focus attack before |
s | exploding and dealing a large amount of |
s | damage finally we have The Last Enemy |
s | type which are these healer ants they do |
s | not possess an astral Aegis but they do |
s | possess a lot of Health in Golden Focus |
s | which makes them a bit tankier than |
s | normal as long as they are alive they |
s | will heal each and every inch in the |
s | surrounding area when you collect all |
s | three runestones you will be able to |
s | defeat the fiery monster this is is your |
s | first introduction into boss monsters in |
s | The Showdown mode and thankfully this |
s | one is not that hard to take out as I |
s | have done it solo while the mode itself |
s | is a trios mode when a boss monster |
s | spawns they might have this red aura |
s | about them that means you cannot attack |
s | them just yet but as you can see when |
s | you do start to attack them they can |
s | have a fairly large astral Aegis bar as |
s | we stated earlier this bar will need to |
s | be depleted before you're able to |
s | stagger the boss once the boss is |
s | staggered you'll be able to deal more |
s | damage to them for a short time before |
s | the astral Aegis bar regenerates going |
s | over the mechanics of the fiery monster |
s | the first attack you'll want to watch |
s | out for is this blue Focus sweep attack |
s | this attack has a long animation where |
s | the fiery monster will glow blue bring |
s | his Lantern over to his left side so on |
s | your right hand side and then we'll |
s | swing after a brief flash of blue Focus |
s | you can counter this rather easily for a |
s | lot of damage in general counter-strikes |
s | will deal more damage to astral Aegis |
s | than most other moves they will also |
s | knock the boss back for a bit as you can |
s | see on the normal mode the thyroid |
s | monster is down after just one |
s | Counter-Strike the boss also has normal |
s | attacks that will not be counterable |
s | such as his ranged attack where he |
s | swirls his Lantern in the air and fires |
s | about five beams at you this is easily |
s | dodged by tap dodging the boss has |
s | another ranged attack where he will lift |
s | his left hand make it Glow and then fire |
s | five spinning Spells at you keep in mind |
s | that this attack is predictive so |
s | whichever direction you are moving is |
s | the direction that he will throw if |
s | you're moving towards him he will throw |
s | them right in front of him if you're |
s | moving away he might throw them a little |
s | bit further simply time your TAP Dodge |
s | towards the end of his hand animation |
s | and you should be fine if they hit you |
s | they will deal a small amount of damage |
s | and hits on you just like a basic attack |
s | there is also this basic attack where |
s | the fiery monster will wind towards the |
s | right and then go for a straight stab |
s | with his Lantern it is a short animation |
s | and I would recommend tap dodging to the |
s | right he also has a close range blast |
s | attack where he will swing his Lantern |
s | around twice before exploding the area |
s | around him if you see E2 swings make |
s | sure you get away from the monster once |
s | the fiery monster Hits about 50 Health |
s | he will then have the ability to Power |
s | Up and Deal his attacks a little bit |
s | faster you can see this take place when |
s | he swings his left hand and dialogue |
s | appears on the left hand side of the |
s | screen in addition to this the fiery |
s | monster May teleport around the |
s | battlefield right before launching |
s | attacks so be careful for that and |
s | finally he gains a much more devastating |
s | attack where he will make his Lantern |
s | float in front of him swirl his hands |
s | and unleash a lightning storm at your |
s | location for a lot of damage you'll want |
s | to constantly tap Dodge until you are |
s | out of the area of effect if you do get |
s | caught in it be prepared to heal for |
s | quite a lot for Hard Mode the fiery |
s | monster does need to take a lot more |
s | damage to his astral ages before he is |
s | stunned and I also noticed an additional |
s | attack where he will wave his left hand |
s | and then go for a grab which will create |
s | an area of effect around him which will |
s | grab nearby players spiritual Vines will |
s | spread from the ground and then grip a |
s | nearby player you will need to mash your |
s | interact key in order to struggle out of |
s | this just like you would a TN High grab |
s | other than that a trio makes quick work |
s | of the first level Eventide Ember on |
s | normal and hard difficulty the second |
s | level Dharma ending ruined mostly |
s | centers around waves of enemies after |
s | you get through enough enemies the |
s | mountain ghost will spawn in the middle |
s | of the Eventide Temple area the mountain |
s | ghost's mechanics are centered around |
s | large sweeping attacks that are easily |
s | telegraphed the main normal attacks |
s | you'll want to watch out for are his big |
s | leftward swing his uppercut swing from |
s | the right side his large rightward swing |
s | and his overhead right tap Dodges will |
s | be your best friend when it comes to |
s | these moves his Focus attacks to watch |
s | out for are his large double swing this |
s | one is by far the easiest one to counter |
s | his combo Focus attack after a normal |
s | swing you'll want to be on the lookout |
s | for this after he does a normal flat |
s | swing like so and also his stomp his |
s | stopping attack is a little bit |
s | different because it does not involve a |
s | flash but once you see him lift his leg |
s | with blue Focus you'll want to counter |
s | right at the precise moment his leg |
s | comes down if you happen to mistime this |
s | he will regain astral Aegis and you'll |
s | have to deal more damage to him to |
s | defeat him his last special mechanic in |
s | the normal mode is his charge his charge |
s | is not countable and it lasts for a long |
s | time it's really hard to outrun it but |
s | what you can do is try to scale rush off |
s | the walls and also try to Grapple to the |
s | buildings above you may notice that the |
s | boss has no way to attack you from here |
s | so you can use it to get a free heal if |
s | you're having trouble in hard mode the |
s | attacks are much the same except that |
s | the mountain Ghost Attacks a little bit |
s | quicker charges a bit more often and |
s | also gains two extra Focus attacks like |
s | so other than that with a decent Trio |
s | this fight should be quick work for you |
s | and now for the final level of chapter 1 |
s | we have omnius descent in this level |
s | you'll be fighting omnius hell Scorch |
s | which is a pretty tough boss if you've |
s | never faced him before however he does |
s | have some attack patterns that I'm going |
s | to point out here in normal mode omnius |
s | wields a sword the entire fight the |
s | objective is pretty simple reduces |
s | Health to zero and you beat the level |
s | his most common basic attack is this |
s | uppercut slash when you're in close |
s | range tap dodging to the side is a good |
s | counter for this he can follow up this |
s | attack in one of three ways an instant |
s | Focus attack a delayed Focus attack or a |
s | giant wind-up into a normal attack the |
s | focus attacks are easy to see coming as |
s | he will glow blue and the Flash will |
s | indicate when his attack is actually |
s | coming out however with the normal |
s | attack he will tuck to the right hand |
s | side and then unleash a big slash after |
s | a long delay if you see the tuck it's |
s | time to back Dodge and run away omnius |
s | does have a one two three combo out of |
s | this with a normal attack a focus attack |
s | and then a quick claw attack from the |
s | right hand side if you do not counter |
s | the focus attack after this first normal |
s | attack then you will want to dodge out |
s | of the way speaking of that previous |
s | normal attack where he tucks to the |
s | right he can also do this raw without |
s | any previous moves again you'll want to |
s | back Dodge omnius also has a range Focus |
s | attack where he will wind up his sword |
s | much like a long sword in the Battle |
s | Royale mode the timing is very precise |
s | here as the attack comes out as soon as |
s | he flashes blue so you'll need to wait a |
s | few seconds and time the blue flash as |
s | soon as the flash goes off you'll want |
s | to either counter or tap Dodge to the |
s | side omnius also has a long wind-up |
s | Focus attack where he will lean to his |
s | right hand side your left hand side and |
s | then lunge forward you will want to |
s | either Dodge or counter the lunge omnius |
s | also has a normal charge of his own |
s | where he will drag his sword to his left |
s | hand side your right hand side and |
s | charge across the battlefield at the end |
s | of this attack you will have a blue |
s | Focus swing the best way to deal with |
s | this is to get out of the way of the |
s | charge and take the time to heal omnius |
s | also has a normal attack where he will |
s | wave his sword to his left hand side and |
s | then do a flashy spinning attack you |
s | will notice this move if he does not |
s | directly attack you and move his sword |
s | to the left hand side omnius also has a |
s | jumping homing attack the best way to |
s | deal with this time it properly and then |
s | tap Dodge the timing is very much like |
s | this 1001 1002 once you get to a |
s | thousand two that's when he lunges so |
s | you'll want to tap Dodge at 1002. if you |
s | deplete omnis's astral Aegis you're of |
s | course able to attack him very freely |
s | however whenever he comes back to you |
s | will need to back away as he does the |
s | spinning attack every time he recovers |
s | his astral ages once at 50 health omnius |
s | will then disappear and summon forth |
s | some evil ants to keep you entertained |
s | these ends will drop valuable healing |
s | items so you'll want to make sure to |
s | collect them as much as possible once |
s | these ins are defeated omnis will |
s | teleport back and then do a focus attack |
s | where he summons forth these evil |
s | spirits these spirits will charge at you |
s | but they are also counterable so you can |
s | either counter them or Dodge them after |
s | this omnius will wind up for a largely |
s | damaging attack the way to get through |
s | this is to either have occur me on your |
s | team or to Grapple to the nearby Temple |
s | and get in the air as this is a grounded |
s | attack after that it's a business as |
s | usual until omnius is defeated now hard |
s | mode is where things get interesting |
s | hard mode is basically the same except |
s | that omnis has better attack and defense |
s | however at 10 health omnius will then |
s | transform omnius will gain all of his |
s | health and astral Aegis back and then |
s | turn into this now omnius no longer has |
s | a sword and has instead traded it for |
s | longer hair and Claws as such as attack |
s | patterns are completely different so |
s | let's go through them omnius has a |
s | normal attack where he will wind up his |
s | left claw and swipe upward after a long |
s | delay he also has a favorite combo where |
s | he will wind back both of his claws in |
s | glow blue Focus he will then lunge |
s | forward with both of his claws do a spin |
s | move that's normal and then do a focus |
s | attack lunging attack the first and |
s | third moves of this combo are obviously |
s | counterable and all of them are |
s | dodgeable in addition to this omnis has |
s | another combo where he will wind back |
s | his right claw and strike with a normal |
s | attack after a delay and then do a focus |
s | attack attack after an even longer delay |
s | if you've noticed a pattern here omnius |
s | has a habit of delaying his attacks to |
s | an absurd degree thankfully if you do |
s | manage to get him down out of his astral |
s | Aegis he does not have a get up attack |
s | like his other form does omnius also has |
s | another basic attack where he will |
s | strike with both his left and his right |
s | one after another you'll want to dodge |
s | either to the side or backward and be |
s | prepared for the second hit omnius has |
s | another favorite normal attack where he |
s | will raise his right hand do a spinning |
s | kick and immediately combo it into a |
s | lunging blue Focus attack the attack is |
s | wide in range and the key here is to |
s | iframe the first part of the attack and |
s | counter the lunge of course you may have |
s | noticed by now that omnius does have a |
s | habit of turning towards new Targets in |
s | the middle of his attack animation so |
s | everyone on the battlefield will need to |
s | be alert for this kind of move as he |
s | does have a lot of range with it and |
s | just like his beginner form omnius also |
s | has a jumping lunging attack and the |
s | timing is about the same at 50 percent |
s | Health just like his first form he will |
s | then enter a focus attack where he will |
s | charge up these flying spirits and they |
s | will lunge out to attack everyone in the |
s | party these again can be countered or |
s | dodged through and after this he will |
s | deal a devastating grounded attack just |
s | like the first form of omnius you will |
s | need to Grapple to the higher buildings |
s | and stay in the air until this attack is |
s | done and just like his first form omnius |
s | has a charging attack and will deal blue |
s | Focus right after the charging animation |
s | and that is it for the final level for |
s | both normal and hard difficulty I hope |
s | this video helped you learn about the |
s | new Mechanics for the new Showdown mode |
s | and also all of the boss moves and |
s | mechanics that you can use to your |
s | advantage whenever you're out there in |
s | The Showdown mode so everyone thank you |
s | so much for watching thank you to naraka |
s | for allowing me to make this video on |
s | their Channel and with that I've been |
s | osk and y'all have a great day see you |
s | all out there |
