| 264s | optimize servers as well as to help our |
| 267s | players reduce Bing starting in June we |
| 270s | are collaborating with gear up which is |
| 272s | a booster software that will help you |
| 275s | guys to reduce your opinion other |
| 277s | technical issues so that's really great |
| 279s | news so we are inviting players to |
| 283s | download the software and give us |
| 284s | feedback on this in the next two months |

| 340s | to wait until there's a bit more content |

| 569s | little bit more Twisted let's talk about |
| 571s | it and I know you're excited about this |
| 573s | I'm excited about it because I learned |
| 575s | about her now I know about her now so |
| 577s | I'm really excited to share with all of |
| 579s | you about that so for those of you |
| 581s | who've been following us on social media |
| 582s | and for those of you also saw Nat East |

| 587s | teasing Zaya bit but who is this new |
| 590s | character what's her story why is she so |
| 593s | insane and so much like erfa yes that's |
| 596s | a good team that's a good thing no do |
| 598s | you think it's a good thing but I don't |
| 600s | think it's a good thing you're not as |
| 602s | good as mistake but the two of us I |
| 605s | think we have like some different sets |
| 607s | of knowledge so I've spoken to the |
| 609s | design team to kind of get a sense as to |
| 611s | like what was the inspiration for her |
| 613s | look for her weapons and I heard that |
| 616s | like you know like her backstory from |
| 618s | the narratives sit down with the |
| 620s | narrative team and got a little bit of |
| 623s | the backstory so yeah I want to share |
| 626s | with you guys so tell me what you want |
| 628s | to know well let's start with so for |
| 630s | those of you who aren't aware zai is |
| 632s | actually Tarka G's sister so let's talk |
| 636s | about that they're siblings did they |
| 638s | grow up together what's their childhood |
| 640s | like |
| 641s | so yeah |
| 642s | so they got separated at a very young |
| 646s | age so when zai was a baby a man |
| 650s | actually came to her father and told him |
| 655s | that the that one day his daughter will |
| 658s | be the one responsible for causing a |
| 661s | terrible Calamity oh that sounds ominous |
| 664s | yeah so upon hearing that prophecy the |
| 668s | her father is me initially planned to |
| 671s | kill zai okay dad wants to kill his |
| 675s | brother I know just because he hears |
| 677s | some random random man just came to you |
| 680s | and could talk to you about so but the |
| 682s | good thing is he didn't go with that |
| 684s | plan because he in in the last moment he |
| 687s | lost that nerve he don't have the heart |
| 690s | to do that but he sent her a way to live |
| 694s | with their nanny |
| 697s | yes okay |
| 700s | yes the dad returned home and then made |
| 703s | up this whole story including in front |
| 705s | of Tarka and said that zai actually got |
| 708s | kidnapped by The Outlaws so so the |
| 711s | family believes that she's been |
| 713s | kidnapped by these Outlaws but |
| 716s | you know like I mean if I'm a if I play |
| 719s | Tarka a lot so I'm assuming like we all |
| 721s | know Tark is a very hot-headed like |
| 723s | drunken kind of guy like I'm sure he |
| 726s | probably even in his youth was willing |
| 728s | to be like well I'm gonna go and just |
| 730s | save my sister yeah so does he not go |
| 733s | after it did they not contact like the |
| 734s | police like come on yeah |
| 739s | letting everyone absorb about that yeah |
| 743s | so basically you're right Tarka actually |
| 745s | went and you know looked for her to |
| 748s | bring her back home but he discovers |
| 752s | that Zai who was once an innocent like |
| 756s | baby sister is not that anymore she has |
| 760s | become evil evil she's A Deadly Assassin |
| 764s | so because of that Tarka sort of like |
| 766s | struggle because he can't really bring |
| 768s | her home because she's completely a |
| 770s | different person she has a completely |
| 773s | different life but we know that like the |
| 776s | story I know is that Tarka has never |
| 778s | given up on that he will try to change |
| 782s | her and he will always try to bring her |
| 784s | home so okay well maybe do you think |
| 787s | that's why he's drinking all the time |
| 789s | yeah he's depressed like someone needs |
| 791s | to sit down with Tarka and in a bar |
| 795s | and let her let him share his feelings |
| 798s | Chad do you think that Turk is depressed |
| 800s | is that what he drinks can they can he |
| 803s | see some like some Theory crafting in |
| 805s | real time what do you think is he |
| 806s | drinking because he's sad because his |
| 808s | sister is like you know yeah |

| 820s | dad tried to kill her but then gives her |
| 822s | to the Nani and then how does she end up |

| 835s | an assassin because |
| 837s | I'm not seeing the correlation between |
| 839s | your Nanny deadly buckle up hold on to |
| 843s | that reaching plush because we know that |
| 845s | that is a sensitive guy |
| 848s | all right so basically this is where I |
| 851s | get very twisted and this is where it |
| 853s | gets very dark so apparently and |
| 856s | ironically the further attempt to save |
| 859s | the prophecy is actually the one that |
| 862s | caused her to become evil so you would |
| 865s | think that you know zai is living like |
| 868s | nice and dandy with the nanny but no The |
| 871s | Nanny actually sent Seoul Zai to human |
| 876s | traffickers oh God |
| 883s | and let it sink in like the life |
| 888s | for his eye has to deal with like nobody |
| 891s | loves her nobody wants her like the |
| 894s | father sent her away the nanny that's |
| 896s | supposed to take care of her sold her |
| 899s | like obviously |
| 901s | yeah so because of that she just |
| 904s | spiraled deeper and deeper into this |
| 908s | dark underworld and she is now the cool |
| 911s | heartless killer she is today because |
| 913s | she is so like removed from emotions |
| 916s | from warmth from whatever that you and I |
| 919s | know right and hold on to so she doesn't |
| 922s | know any of that because she's every |
| 924s | person that she's met in her life |
| 926s | disappoint her yeah they've just all |
| 928s | betrayed her in some form or fashion |
| 930s | exactly that's just really sad man yes |
| 932s | so I learned from The Narrative team is |
| 935s | that she actually escaped from the Human |
| 937s | traffickers by killing all of them oh |
| 940s | yeah well that's one way to do it with |
| 943s | her for that |
| 946s | true and I don't know like learn like |
| 950s | what she just needs to escape and I |
| 952s | guess all the rest that build up and |
| 954s | then she just went on a killing spree |
| 956s | and because of that violence trick that |
| 961s | attracted Anika which is the |
| 963s | organization she is in they eventually |
| 966s | recruited her |
| 967s | so this is great for Zai because it gave |
| 971s | her the perfect Outlet to hone her |
| 973s | skills and at the same time you know |
| 975s | continue on her killing spree and also |
| 978s | be rewarded for it like it's like a |
| 980s | paint job he's she's a paid assassin |
| 983s | right yeah I mean like her life has been |
| 986s | so hard like I she's she seems like so |
| 990s | smart I can't help but empathize with |
| 992s | her right yeah I'm feeling a bit sad for |
| 996s | her I mean I wonder is is she does she |
| 998s | present as gloomy because you know Tarka |
| 1000s | is always like you know happy go lucky |
| 1002s | like chug chug chug or ooh let the booze |
| 1005s | flow like you know those are his like |
| 1007s | kind of famous voice lines so like what |
| 1010s | do you know what her voice links are |
| 1012s | going to be like yeah I got to see a |
| 1014s | couple of the voice lines so like the |
| 1016s | narrative team really want to convey |
| 1018s | like the how insane and twisted zai is |

| 1025s | so basically like one of the one of the |
| 1028s | lines that I really like is she said |
| 1031s | standing in the field of corpses is all |
| 1034s | I ever dreamed of oh please don't I will |
| 1037s | record that and make that turn that into |
| 1039s | your alarm no that's an HR that's gonna |
| 1042s | happen that's gonna happen Daddy no |
| 1044s | that's a violation violation |
| 1046s | so yeah that's really like zai whole |
| 1050s | backstory now that you learn her and her |
| 1053s | character and how she came to be evil |
| 1057s | um so let's talk about like her design |
| 1060s | outfit design and inspiration I know |
| 1064s | that you have all the scoop on that so I |
| 1066s | do I do I do I mean now I understand why |
| 1069s | Target drinks I really do this is a lot |
| 1072s | so |
| 1074s | um I spoke to some of the designers and |
| 1075s | a lot of the inspiration for zai's |
| 1078s | outfit really comes from this famous |
| 1080s | Chinese myth so in this myth there are |
| 1084s | these two deities that help to take |
| 1087s | um The Souls of The Departed to the |
| 1089s | underworld |
| 1090s | don't get excited it's gonna be like a |
| 1092s | horror |
| 1094s | excited because the next part is what |
| 1095s | you're not gonna like so they actually |
| 1098s | punish the evil doers done in the |
| 1101s | Underworld |
| 1103s | so yeah so you know what that means erfa |
| 1105s | for you I'm not evil I just like |
| 1108s | okay okay |
| 1111s | yes we all know but um so essentially |
| 1115s | they really wanted to give her this like |
| 1117s | feel that so sorry the the two deities |
| 1119s | are the like the white guard and The |
| 1121s | Black Guard and she's more based on the |
| 1123s | white guard so they really wanted to |
| 1126s | give her kind of like you know that |
| 1128s | dominant tricks oh yeah I do see that |
| 1130s | it's that sexy pose and the like |
| 1133s | stalking they want her to be alluring |
| 1136s | which makes sense because you know you |
| 1138s | wanted to be able to infiltrate |
| 1139s | organizations maybe she seduces her foes |
| 1142s | before killing them or maybe she just |
| 1144s | uses it to like escape from like like |
| 1147s | hairy situations but they also wanted |
| 1150s | her to have a practical kind of like |
| 1153s | outfit and set of clothing because |
| 1155s | realistically she's an assassin she used |
| 1158s | to be able to be able in and out and not |
| 1160s | really attract too much attention so a |
| 1163s | lot of her design is like focused on |
| 1166s | really barring this idea from the myth |
| 1169s | of like these long Majestic |
| 1171s | um white robes with intricate designs |
| 1174s | this like Majestic headgear that kind of |
| 1177s | like hints at her like official status |
| 1179s | yeah as somebody who serves Annika but |
| 1182s | also they don't really want to attract |
| 1184s | too much attention to her so she doesn't |
| 1186s | have like a lot of gold in her |
| 1188s | presentation it's more muted colors like |
| 1191s | white blacks yeah and |
| 1194s | of course she has jeans |
| 1197s | but not the kind of changes that I would |
| 1199s | wear but you you guys can see what kind |
| 1201s | of chains |
| 1203s | because I'm keeping it yeah spg-13 yes |
| 1210s | um but yeah so let's talk so we talked a |
| 1212s | little bit about her outfit she is you |
| 1215s | know as I mentioned she works for Annika |
| 1217s | my understanding is that Annika serves |
| 1220s | the government so in actual reality |

| 1228s | does that make sense to me because all |
| 1230s | the civil servants that I know are just |
| 1233s | like you know |
| 1235s | you never know in the shadows yeah maybe |
| 1238s | I need to be careful in Ottawa yeah |

| 1246s | outfit but I think what I was really |
| 1249s | confused by and I'm sure a lot of you |

| 1268s | telling me about why they chose this |
| 1270s | direction for her so as we all know |
| 1273s | Tarka is very vibrant he's like full of |
| 1276s | energy he has warm tones warm colors |
| 1279s | they wanted to really go with a more |
| 1282s | direct contrast someone that's a lot |
| 1285s | colder devoid of end of life kind of |
| 1289s | like you know depressing gloomy so |
| 1292s | that's why they went for like a pale |
| 1294s | skin tone for her |
| 1297s | backstory like the colors of Life sort |
| 1300s | of like zepped out of her that's why |
| 1302s | they chose that color yeah now I get it |
| 1304s | and for her skills and her weapon design |
| 1306s | they really wanted to like mimic that |
| 1309s | kind of idea of like this disharmony |
| 1312s | through like the use of like this black |
| 1316s | smoke and really cool blue flame I |
| 1318s | really like that two colors together so |
| 1321s | this is her |
| 1322s | um signature weapon and think right now |
| 1325s | it's called the chance life don't quote |
| 1326s | me on that chat don't hold me to that |
| 1329s | that might not be the final name but |
| 1332s | is really based on two classical |
| 1335s | flexible weapons so it's based on the |
| 1338s | Rope Dart and the chain whip and what I |
| 1343s | really like about the design is it's me |
| 1345s | to really act as a catalyst to carry her |
| 1349s | flame so I like how it starts with the |
| 1352s | dark blue and then it gets brighter and |
| 1354s | brighter almost like it's mimicking like |
| 1357s | an actual flame and the reason why they |
| 1360s | also kept the flame bit is because while |
| 1362s | she's a descendant of the G family and |
| 1364s | the g family as well from Tarka yeah |
| 1368s | they can manipulate fire so that's a |
| 1370s | really cool way of like incorporating |
| 1372s | her flame ability but not in a |
| 1375s | straightforward job she fires a fireball |
| 1378s | is actually using her weapon as a |
| 1381s | catalyst for the Flames very clever I |
| 1384s | actually like that I really like that |
| 1385s | yeah so let's take a little bit of a |
| 1387s | look at her motion capture I think we |
| 1390s | can see like how the weapon actually |
| 1392s | forms so |
| 1394s | she's so so the whip is not sorry or |
| 1397s | sorry the Chain's life is not really |
| 1398s | meant to be like a lasso so it's not so |
| 1401s | we're not doing Wonder Woman here yeah |
| 1402s | she's not lassoing to get the enemies |
| 1405s | nearer or capture the enemies she's like |
| 1407s | you're dead yeah that's it the blade is |
