Hello Forerunners,

We’re back with Part 2 of our Season 10: Pioneer Preview. NARAKA has entered Season 10: Pioneer, bringing a new weapon and treasure scroll to the battlefield. If you recall our preview post on Reddit, we asked you to tell us what abilities you thought our new hero would have. Some of you guessed alchemy abilities - we see the FMA reference 😉




So now we’ll talk about Hadi Ismail, the visionary joining Season 10. Everyone was anticipating his arrival after seeing him in our latest key art—and now it's time for us to unveil a bit more of his story.

Hadi is from Lunazra, who lost his right arm during a rescue operation but forged it into steel so that he could continue fighting. His skills are based on his mechanical arm 💪🏿—and we think you're going to love them!

All we can say about his abilities is that he can fly and attack enemies, or pull them toward him. His glider helps him travel long distances across Morus Island—which is awesome when you consider how big the island is! So get up high and glide down to rain destruction upon your foes. You can test him out on November 10th before he hits the game on November 15th. Look out for more details on our Discord channel.


New PVE Mode Featuring Roguelike Gameplay

PvE content in NARAKA continues to grow with a new mode available later this season to enjoy. You will be able to enter a “pyramid” and within each level of the “pyramid”, there are several rooms. Before entering the first room, you can select from a number of Souljades the effects you would like to take with you. Defeating all enemies in a room rewards you with a “Blessing” that enhances your abilities. The effects of this “Blessing” will be carried forward to other rooms but will be cleared once moving on to the next level. Those brave enough to endure the trials of the “pyramid” will be rewarded for their efforts. Are you brave enough?


New Showdown Chapter: Shipwreck Expanse

Remember we talked about a new chapter of Showdown back in Behind the Blade Episode 3? Well, what do you know it’s coming this season 😅oops! This newest chapter of Showdown brings some water-themed enemies within the Shipwreck Expanse. Joining the fray is our loveable mech pilot, Feria Shen, and she’ll be wielding her trusty Nunchucks to squash anyone and anything in her way.










New Outfit Collection: Poetic Rhymes

Tang Dynasty clothing is famous for its elegance, beauty and attention to detail. In season 10 chests, three legendary outfits inspired by the Tang Dynasty's style will be available for Matari, Yueshan and Kurumi. The outfits will each feature a unique poem.





Beyond Season 10…

So much is happening in Season 10 but there is so much more to come in NARAKA. Martial arts in China have a long and prestigious history. There will be a new area for you to explore, it is part of Icuria, and the overall map design is reminiscent of an underground imperial city. As a game proud of traditional culture and roots we are always excited to explore ways to incorporate them. While we can’t let all the secrets out, we can say that for now, you can look forward to hearing more at the second NARAKA Fest for this year!
