@YOUNGDIRKK You can still time RS aimed shots. Either let go and center RS, or tap LT/L2 or RT/R2. I just personally find LT/L2 the easiest and most accurate.

@FiveNine__ There's no penalty for ignoring shot timing when shooting with the stick. But you will get a boost if you aim AND time the shot.

@ZavierDrake @TheRealTyceno @2KInsiderr @CallMeAgent00 Yes. Green machine will expand the center aim window and give you incremental boosts for each centered shot. If you mix it up between the button and stick, the green chain carries over between the two.

Try zooming your camera in if you’re having trouble with the shot meter. It might reduce your court visibility but makes shooting easier imo, especially RS aiming. Could be a good trade off

With Patch 1.02, target window for shot aiming depends on how quickly you move RS to start a shot. Slow flick = left, fast flick = right. So it's under your control now. You can also use shot aiming with meter off for a small boost.

Patch 1.02: Park moves off the drive are now mapped to RS holds, like the cross or behind back escapes when standing. Try flicking and releasing the RS for regular crosses/behind backs if you're accidentally getting park moves. LT/L2 will give you hard stops like you're used to.

Patch 1.02: You can shoot driving floaters from further away from the hoop (similar to 2K20.) If you want the pull-ups you were getting pre-patch, center the left stick before hitting the shot button/Pro Stick. The rest of the official patch notes should be coming soon.

Nerf to fades is NOT in this patch but will be coming in patch 1.03, which is still in active development. Anklebreakers should work better today, but the full fix for them will also come in patch 1.03.

@sirc4real Our engineers think they've pinpointed the issue and are working on a fix. Can you guys tell me if you changed your Shot Feedback setting? If you did, can you set it back to User Only and let me know if it helps?

There was no hotfix. Nothing on the gameplay side has changed at all.

Post shots/hooks are currently immune to contests. This will be hotfixed tomorrow morning. The other bug where post hooks can green w/o releasing the stick is known and still being investigated. Tomorrow's fix should keep hooks in check until we can address it.
