| 21s | today I'm joined by Patrick our Seasons |
| 23s | uh lead design and Drew our senior PM |
| 26s | we're talking about some that is I think |
| 29s | very exciting I know Scott is super set |
| 31s | he couldn't be here this is his favorite |
| 32s | feature transball uh so why don't we |
| 36s | start off with you Patrick tell us a |
| 37s | little bit about uh appearances how you |
| 39s | get them and what that all means with |
| 41s | trans box yeah so at a high level first |
| 43s | in case you're unfamiliar with the term |
| 44s | transmog it's the ability to take the |
| 46s | appearance of one item capture that then |
| 49s | use that as a skin in the game so what |
| 51s | that looks like in New World uh as a |
| 53s | player who logs in day one of this patch |
| 54s | any item you have in your inventory or |
| 56s | storages will be captured in a |
| 59s | collection of appearances that you can |
| 60s | then go and transmog so as you uh |
| 64s | acquire items you'll get a nice little |
| 66s | pop-up saying new appearance unlocked |
| 67s | once you have that appearance unlocked |
| 68s | then when you go to the NPC that allows |
| 71s | you to transmog the item it's there and |
| 73s | you can use a transmog token to turn |
| 74s | that appearance into a skin that's |
| 76s | awesome so you said on day one it's |
| 79s | going to check through all of your |
| 80s | storages and inventory so we should be |
| 82s | collecting today don't don't sell or |
| 84s | dismantle yes everything you have at |
| 86s | your everfall storage will be captured |
| 87s | and then you can finally Salvage all |
| 89s | those items and get that space back cool |
| 91s | so once I've captured an appearance Drew |
| 94s | what do I do with it taking through the |
| 96s | process yeah so what you'll want to do |
| 98s | is you want to travel to any major city |
| 100s | find an Outfitter station next Outfitter |
| 103s | station you'll actually see an NPC |
| 105s | called a style Manser they'll have a |
| 107s | transmogrification icon over their head |
| 109s | so it should be pretty easy to find when |
| 111s | you chat with them it'll open up this |
| 112s | collection that Patrick was talking |
| 113s | about inside that collection you'll be |
| 116s | able to apply a transmog token to any of |
| 118s | the pieces or appearances that you found |
| 121s | and then once that's unlocked you can |
| 123s | actually apply it to your piece of gear |
| 125s | sounds cool so you mentioned a token uh |
| 128s | how do we get these tokens yeah so you |
| 130s | can get the tokens by opening up Elite |
| 131s | chests inside the game they're a chance |
| 133s | to drop out of those you can also get |
| 135s | them for free via the seasonal reward |
| 137s | track uh there's also some on the paid |
| 139s | part of the reward track and then if you |
| 141s | just want more you can always open up |
| 143s | the in-game store and pick up some more |
| 144s | there awesome |
| 145s | any other cool features coming along |
| 148s | with transmog Patrick that we should be |
| 150s | aware of yeah one really big one that |
| 151s | I'm excited about is the ability to dye |
| 154s | all skins so previously you've been able |
| 156s | to purchase and acquire scans and equip |
| 158s | them but now I can turn my White Rabbit |
| 160s | head into a red rabbit head or a blue |
| 162s | rabbit head |
| 163s | um any skin you have except for weapons |
| 165s | can be dyed any color you want which I |
| 168s | think is really exciting yeah that's big |
| 170s | I think players are really going to like |
| 171s | that well so have you all been |
| 173s | collecting appearances do you have a set |
| 175s | ready to transmog Drew yeah I probably |
| 177s | have like four sets ready to transmog |
