Thank you for sharing your feedback on bug reporting and how these issues might still make their way to the live game!

The PTR is a very important part of our development process! With more eyes and playstyles testing and looking for issues, we’re able to capture and fix them earlier.

We gather all of the feedback and bug reports provided by our testers and work to stack rank on needed changes by severity and time to resolve. We aren’t always able to address every reported issue before a build releases into the live game but that doesn’t mean we aren’t tracking and working to address them.

As a team, we work hard to resolve as many reported issues as possible while also providing content in a timely manner. We aim to provide transparency for each PTR in our weekly PTR Patch Notes. Many of these fixes are a direct result of players reporting bugs and providing feedback within the PTR.

This recent update was a hefty one, with new features and a multitude of changes to the player experience. The development process is always a balance of prioritization and speed. We aren’t always perfect in the execution and welcome your feedback when we don’t get it right.

In terms of the initial bug reported in this thread, we have a fix in the 1.6.3 Patch, releasing 2022-08-17T06:00:00Z. The fix covers projectiles sometimes disappearing when hitting certain ground types.

We want to continue to have an open dialogue with the community around our process and will continue to fine tune it. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
