How much is planned for Ancients? I really like the idea of a race that doesn't age, eat, or really have any needs aside from rest, at the cost of a lack of proliferation.

Right now they seem a little sparse, particularly when it comes to labor. Are there plans for more permanent summons, similar to imps, that have other specializations? For instance, something that lives solely to haul and will do nothing else, or something solely for stoneworking?

Summons aside, is there going to ever be a way to use void materials for building? Using shards or crystals to create void walls or floors, for example. By extension, could they be worked into tools, perhaps leading to a parallel path to metals, using more and more powerful magical materials to make tools instead of physical metals and stones?

When we can make mixed-race settlements, this could lead to some interesting tech paths - mixing void magic and human technology to create some amalgamation of ideas.

Yes! You're correct. They're not finished and are more of a prototype to help me develop the game with two races in play so the systems are properly rounded out.

That being said, there are three new summons planned. They should be added relatively soon. Plus, Ancients, as well as Humans, will constantly get more and more things to build, including void-based objects. I try to add more blueprints each update. The update I'm currently working on has a ton. The next update will also let Humans use the void via the new tech tree.

One thing--which you may or may not care about--is the addition of more story elements for each race as development progresses. That's an area I've left completely untouched as I work on the core game. But I do want to have more scenarios, artifacts, and historical figures appear which are based on the race you select. These would give lots of backstory to them and the world and make them feel even more unique.
