I wanted to transfer my save file from my desktop to my laptop to play on the go. When I load my save it gives me the 'hes dead jim' error. Replacing save file 0 with the 0_backup did not work.

You can copy the save folder and paste it into the other machine's matching directory.

The save directories are:

Location on Windows: C:\users\you\appdata\locallow\Unknown Origin Games\OddRealm

Location on Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Unknown Origin Games/OddRealm

Location on Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Unknown Origin Games/OddRealm

Just copy the entire 'OddRealm' folder and overwrite the one on your other machine. Of course make sure to back it up just in case.

Note: AppData is usually hidden in directories. Your best bet is to type it into the directory input bar.

I will be activating Steam's cloud saving soon. I'll be sure to post an announcement when I do.
