@_benui The newest version in beta gives players the ability to choose their starting location. Otherwise, you'd have to make a stairway down.
Interestingly, it leads off and sits under the ocean. If I need to, I can flood it and totally block off my entrance.
Starting my Ancients base in this cenote. Anyone trying to get at me is going to swim.

@InfinityGamesFI It can be performance heavy if there are enough blocks needing their physics checked. To solve this, I delay processing a physics queue a frame if it takes too long. For the most part, the queue doesn't need to be delayed.
@InfinityGamesFI Everything but the characters are tiles. The water, when disturbed, is flagged as unstable. They are then added to a physics processing queue. When they get processed, they check their neighbors to see if they can fill them. They are removed from the queue if stable afterwards

Testing out some cave gen code.. Tied it to the mouse to make it easier to see. How much time have a spent just tearing up the world? It's not, not a lot

@TurboDwyer Sort of! Once I add things like steam, smoke, and gas, you will be able to.
I've made it so players can make a simple greenhouse with a torch, and some glass roofing. The torch keeps your crops from freezing but also mitigates snow build up on the glass roof which lets in the sunlight.
