[2020] Suspect my friend's account has been compromised. What can I do?

An in-game friend that I made a year and a half ago messaged me twice very recently in a very uncharacteristic way, telling me he's forgotten his PIN and asking me to lend him something so he can make some money. He's not in our regular world either.

I trust this guy completely, but just recently he was heading into a fight cave attempt and I don't think he was feeling too confident. What I think happened is the dumb f*ck hit some other friend up or worse, looked around online, and asked someone to complete his fire cape, and they locked him out of his account.

I don't know his e-mail, I don't know any personal life details apart from where he's from. Is there a way to ask someone to lock the account or at least look into it, or am I stuck probably watching this guy's account get wrecked in the 11$ costumer support limbo?
