@SteLavery And we'd hopefully end up with a simple & quick animation for your crossing, rather than something like the one south of Varrock's stone circle, where you can end up going back & forth a bit when using it.
@Im_Stegali In POH costume rooms, you mean? I think there was some interest in grouping stuff that could credibly be grouped, to fit with the style of its menu.
@dianco0 The game engine has a deliberate restriction on which ranks can use the data space where that info's being held. I'd be delighted if that restriction could be removed in future, but for now I'm afraid we can only use it for higher-ranked members.
@Alex_b683 Understandable. It may be that our managers also think it's better to prioritise other roles rather than getting another dev now. Also, your interest in seeing the role open up just so it might go to one specific person so that he could write the quests you want... that's niche!
@ORoblfc Might need a rather more extensive menu so you can clarify *what* you want to fill it with, if there's an empty slot. A coal bag is relatively simple for that! I'd be very glad to see such improvements to how you load & unload those at a bank, anyway.
@Bubbles87273851 If they declined your recovery request, it sounds rather like the info you gave wasn't as sufficient or as accurate as you described. Please continue liaising with the Support team if you require their help.
@ryyzan The other RS version had something of the sort in the past, though it was only for PvM deaths. I think the most tricky bit of what you describe would be recognising alternate versions of the chosen items, reliably.
@ThePureSeb I expect so. LMS actually has various similarities to the arena, but it likely attracts a lot more people who aren't otherwise into PvP due to its rewards.
@7319abowers Unsurprisingly I'd prefer that the system had been written to move them to Lumbridge, but that doesn't seem to be what the original game engine dev did! Deleting such squares hasn't been a pressing matter, so far.
@FeaR_Nekomata The audio engineer who'd have worked on it is no longer here to ask why they made it sound like that, though my guess is that they wanted something that sounded destructive and aggressive, and they came up with that.
@chirpeh13 They got rather more infrastructure in place for restricting item transfer back in 2008, when all trade was restricted, which may have helped for installing such checks. We may well get to try something of the sort in future though.
@garrett48330560 May well happen in future. We deliberately didn't try it when those teleports were created, so as to continue draining the items from the game more, but that needn't remain the case forever.
@Hobbes_SSBM Thank you. There are indeed some fixes still pending; they identified a fix earlier today for the issue with dragging while teleporting, for example.
@Kenneth36252010 As I mentioned, I'm afraid this isn't something I'd be able to help you with instead of them. Please continue liaising with the Support team if you need their help.
@VoiidPlay We'd be able to add one, though tracking *useful* activity isn't as easy as it sounds - players would very likely be able to set themselves to fight for low damage against a like-minded AFKer without being any real use to the team's tactics.
@CerpinTaxt_OSRS Mod Kirby created the NPC, I believe. I hate to risk making you feel old, but our younger staff may be increasingly unfamiliar with TV shows from the 90's.
@TimmonsRs @TetrisChemist @AUTUMNELEGYRS I appreciated that the code was future-proof enough to handle new pickaxes automatically off their tier, without needing them to be listed individually whenever yet another one is created via ornament kits or whatever. So I kept that aspect.
@hypers I think it'd be fun to see. Very different from the existing UIM, presumably, due to the lack of death piles. Though UIM hasn't exactly been a mass activity, and this harder version of it might well have similarly niche appeal :(
@ematthew221 While it wouldn't *stop* them, it forces them to do more elaborate interactions with the game, and thus gives the Support team more opportunities to detect that they're dodgy. Sorry, for now it's staying.
@RETALIA51465068 Very kind of you :)
I think the player's participation in LMS would have been accepted, as it has similarities to the Arena. Though we'd likely leave such players out of a future one.
@Falladis Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your platform can be better supported in future. Perhaps other work-arounds from that page may be worth a try in the meantime.
@Jordan71828007 There's technically a set of crystal staves already. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Crystal_staff_(basic)
As for outside that area, though, we've not currently planned anything like that. Doesn't mean it can never happen, of course.
@otpThorwald I'd suggest trying the Support team for more reliable guidance on this, as they'd know better how such things would show on their monitoring.
@Gamer_i2eally Thanks for sharing your concerns about such a change. It's understandable that you'd feel that way, though it may be helpful for the future if you'd tolerate the change anyway.
@joekuzia I'd hope so, though we may wind up having to choose between doing that this year versus doing another BH version or a different expansion to the Wilderness, both of which have also had a lot of support from players.
@GreasyMcNugget I'd heard it was mostly associated with especially crowded places. While we wait for a proper fix, some players had reported that capping the FPS had helped them with it, though others disagreed.
@AngryLem0n "what a good idea", mostly.
The difference probably arises because the map knows that upper levels are above the ground, so it can render the icons accordingly, but it doesn't actually know how the underground area relates to the surface world.
@GhraziRapier Shouldn't do - and mostly hadn't previously, as far as I know. Long-press the 'Report' button in the app and you'll find a bug report form for letting the testers know directly about it.
@suicideim2alive I'd guess they were given the eating sound because they're considered to have solid food in them (i.e. the fish eggs). Though the one time I ever had caviar, it wasn't exactly crunchy.
@tosssees1 I'm sorry things have been rough for you there. This is rather outside my area, but maybe discussing your frustrations with the girlfriend would be worth a try.
@tosssees1 The Support team's JagexSupport on this platform if you'd like to ask them, though they generally don't offer to unban botted accounts to let people retrieve the items as far as I know - mostly their aim is to get such accounts and their items out of the game.
@Im_Stegali A lot of standard plate sets have a full helm, body, legs and kite shield - a med helm may have been left alone because many plate sets don't count them.
@Barkingdogs9 If it's launching for an extended period like that, sure. But I think any soft launch - which would likely be just 1-2 weeks - would still expect to wipe points at the end if there were due to be significant rebalancing before the full launch.
@ORoblfc @TieChar_ :) I considered trying a bank update for easier rune pouch management during the GameJam week, but ended up choosing the LMS alternate modes instead. Maybe another dev will get to try it.
