@OfficialJoppig Oh, sorry, I gave you the max hit range, rather than the max hit damage with range. Must have misread your post. Looks like about 26 for melee, 30 for ranged, but the wiki's normally pretty good on this stuff so maybe there's some custom code affecting it that I've not found.
@LeeroyPon It does sound like it's rubbed you the wrong way, yeah! I think the spell must have been created when the diaries were made, as part of the reward - RS3 unlocks it from Livid Farm, which OSRS has not got. Cheers :)
@Joe_Sorci @Bewear1835 @Iron_Cub That remains the case - I personally think it'd look a bit too Power Rangers for my taste, but I've seen ample player interest in it anyway. And the degradation mechanic change has been requested too.
@Bewear1835 @Joe_Sorci Well, if you say you want it, you'd have to accept that it'd take dev time that could otherwise have been spent on something else! That doesn't rule it out, but you'd be encouraged to think about what else players might have wanted instead...
@chocob01 Does sound like it - assuming the chances have always been what they are, anyway. The thing's been around since RS Classic, and may not have been quite the same then, so maybe there's a discontinued item out there for it. Letting players burn it now doesn't sound helpful, anyway.
@livi_fleming I'm afraid this isn't a Support channel and I'd not be able to do that, no - the Support team's JagexSupport on this platform if you'd like to ask them. Let them know someone's put an authenticator on your account, and see if they can direct you to recover it.
@ColemanAdam I heard it wasn't approved on all platforms until this morning, so maybe your friend was on one that still had a restriction. If he still can't see it, perhaps try directing him to the Support team who'd know more about billing matters than I do.
@No_Bigie Maybe it's good that the game has both approaches, covering those who like the excitement of wondering whether a roll will give them something rare, and those who like to see a goal on the horizon that they can grind towards.
@Altered48203979 I expect that could be managed, with some requirements such as ensuring it's actually got a decent number of challenge rooms in there - inb4 someone pays 1m for just a food room and a corridor on the way down to Olm!
@Altered48203979 While true, if it's too different from what players know as Nex, that may not go so well. There's a great big raiding dungeon in development where more advanced mechanics could definitely fit.
@armadylcrossbow Took place in a Discord, I think. Do you reckon the changes were therefore skewed towards what PvPers wanted rather than the PvE community you describe? (e.g. the PvP weapons we delivered)
@SicknezOSRS Single prestige affects how much wealth you can receive in trades from your party, and whether you can equip items such as whips without getting a KC of a relevant creature. Those restrictions wear off after a few weeks, though.
@Andrius4n Content developers cannot help with bans, even if the Support team's not got to your reports yet. You'll understand they receive quite a lot of those, and I'd not be able to act on them instead for you. They're JagexSupport on this platform if you need to discuss your reports.
@BurntBearCat The code's expandable alright. Might be interesting to see what that did to rapid training methods, of course. I'm afraid I don't have additional info for you about how the current design was chosen.
@Burbo__ The Saradomin sword's two hits are melee and magic respectively, as you're observing. The blessed Saradomin sword's hit counts as *melee*, though it rolls against the target's magical defence.
@GasperVilfan A) There are quite a lot of projects taking the team's attention at present, even if most of them are for next year, and we may not get to undertake this imminently.
B) It'd only be able to count from its implementation.
@gnathy_s An underground area could be added, since players would presumably want convenient access to the machinery rather than something further away, and it'd be awkward trying to extend upwards any more.
@KeefSmokes Some - there's hopefully going to be a beta for some proposed mechanic changes to how players can/can't attack each other (and NPCs) in there. You may also find it helpful as a PvPer if players are more willing to enter the area to use the NPCs.
@ZenKris21 Can't actually see what the engine's got under the hood there, sorry. I believe it's skewed towards the west, though, rather than being evenly distributed across all possible target tiles. It'd also check for line-of-walk to the middle, so scenery can exclude possible tiles.
@PicklesR Long-press the 'Report' button in the game, and you'll find a bug report form for letting the testers know about the icon issue. I'm afraid I don't know a date for the other change you're interested in though.
@Rewnz123 If you didn't like the Nightmare because of "basically 0 chance of loot for everyone else", might it not be even worse if we just did a roll for the MvP only? Distributing some chance of loot to other participants seems fairer if they're really contributing.
@Andrius4n I'm sure it's frustrating, but you'd nevertheless do better liaising with the Support team if you need to discuss the reports you sent them, or want feedback about what they did, rather than instead asking the content developers.
@0hmm_rs The loot-dropping code currently relies on identifying a specific player, since it does player-specific checks (e.g. for a ring of wealth). I think we'd have a *lot* of restructuring of loot code to handle, if we tried to make it able to execute without a player at all.
