88s toa questions to begin with uh thanks to

94s group iron man changes questions so
96s let's start with some announcements
98s exclamation mark game update we've
100s updated some items in our equipment
102s rebalancing stuff uh there's long
104s awaited poll 76 changes so go check that

111s is actually live and we've updated the
114s blog to version three which seems to be
116s received really really well um check out
119s the blog for all the changes uh feedback
121s so far has been really good
122s exclamation mark gin changes which is
125s what we're talking about today
126s we're introducing potentially an
128s unranked gim mode along with a raffle
131s and it's what we're going to be
132s discussing on our q a today and finally
135s exclamation mark toa rewards um we
137s actually just published a blog about
139s updating the toa rewards um arcane is
142s going to be talking about that today
144s so exclamation mark toa rewards if you
146s haven't seen the blog yet so
149s first things first uh the amazing mod
151s arcane is here just to chat with us
153s about some of the new rewards from the
154s blog um so arcane do you want to talk
157s about some of the new changes uh that
159s went live today in a blog
162s yeah so we had some we've already had
164s like a big poll and big blog with all
166s the toa rewards all of them passed um
169s but there's a couple of them that we
170s felt like could be improved slightly
172s whether it was like we just didn't
174s really like what this rewards become or
176s mathematically some web uh weapons
178s weren't really achieving what we liked
180s in the best way and then some players
182s just had some really good ideas for
183s alternative rewards
185s so we kind of wanted to just offer like
186s some changes so we've released a blog
188s today and it's got three big things on
190s it so i'll go from smallest to biggest
193s since most of the questions that i've
194s curated and are about the big ticket i
198s uh the first one is changing how the
200s osmondson's fang calculates accuracy so
203s instead of it rolling for accuracy once
205s if it rolls and then fails it'll roll
207s again so you get this really interesting
208s damage curve that we have on the blog
210s that basically makes an incredibly
212s accurate weapon
213s and we rebalanced some of the stats
215s slightly so we brought it down from 175
218s accuracy to like 105 because with this
220s double accuracy roll um it's really
222s really accurate um so we just had to
225s rebalance the stats a bit but we think
227s feel like it just
228s it feels what it was trying to do a lot
230s better now without feeling as artificial
232s since 175 accuracy on a one-handed
234s weapon fell a little weird
236s and that's one potential change that if
238s everyone likes will go ahead with and
240s it's effectively still the same weapon
242s it's just doing it slightly differently
245s the second reward was a new reward
247s offered that players suggested which was
249s a upgrade to the room pouch so the room
252s pouch can hold three types of rooms
254s right now 16k each and they're basically
257s this reward would let you upgrade your
259s pouch into a four slot room pouch you
260s can have four 16k different types of
262s runes inside of a four stop room pouch
265s obviously really really powerful so many
267s you use so much utility you get from
269s magic all over the game and i imagine
271s this is gonna be a really really
272s desirable item
274s and
274s the one caveat is we're thinking about
276s making this item untradable so the idea
279s is you would have to do toa to get this
281s reward
282s that being said we wouldn't have it as
284s like a crazy rare item like hundreds of
286s hours or anything like that we'd expect
287s it to be like fairly common so maybe you
289s go there i do like 2050kc and you'd
292s expect to get this item and obviously
294s toa scales and difficulty a lot as well
296s so it's not just going to only be this
298s crazy difficult raid you can kind of
299s customize the difficulty to your nature
301s so we're hoping it like is quite
303s approachable for most players to go do
304s to get this reward for whoever you
307s really are you don't have to be an
308s expert pvm to get that but yeah let us
311s know what your feedback is on this we
312s think it's a really good idea to have
314s untreatable rewards from most content so
316s then every piece of content has purpose
318s for everyone because currently right now
320s iron men have to do everything but
321s regular accounts you can just skip 90
323s percent of the game and just go sit at
325s cob so the end of days and making a lot
326s of money which isn't really great
328s gameplay
335s question session is the new mage weapon
338s so the heka which was the previously
339s offered major weapons is like a fast
341s attacking alternate variable speed
344s weapon with some unique spellbook
345s effects people really liked the idea of
348s this like wacky weapon with unique
350s spellbook interactions and the
351s alternating gameplay but
354s it just didn't really
356s feel like enough and we bought the
358s numbers and we changed like a bunch of
359s things around and it objectively was
362s like a strong upgrade it still just
364s didn't feel like that tebow it didn't
366s feel like that society if toa was
368s missing that one item which purely
371s drives like demand of wanting to do that
373s content for years and years to come like
375s tebow and scifi always will have
378s and so you wanted to basically revisit
380s that and we don't think it's right to
381s keep iterating on heka again and again
383s and again it gets really confusing and
384s like it muddies the water a lot so we're
387s proposing a new mage weapon that would
389s basically replace the heka
391s this isn't to say the heck it would
392s never happen ever again we can use it in
393s the future but for toa the idea is we
396s would offer this new mage weapon instead
398s of the heka if it passes
400s so this new major weapon is called the
401s shadow of tomaken
403s the shadow of tuban is going to be a
405s two-handed five-tick staff
407s it's gonna have moderate stats 35
410s accuracy 20 defense nothing special a
412s bit of prayer
413s but it has one really really important
415s effect while it's equipped all of your
417s magic strength from gear is tripled all
420s of your magic accuracy from gear is
422s tripled so this makes all of your
424s individual gear switch switches
425s incredibly valuable so this is going to
427s make sears ring a lot of accuracy
430s everything gets more and more powerful
431s it heavily incentivizes you to bring
434s more and more switches which kind of
435s differentiates it we don't have any
437s two-handed five-tech major weapons which
439s should be a bit more interesting to use
441s and obviously fits that whole scythe and
442s tebow like the big weapon
444s need and
446s so we're hoping that it's gonna be like
448s quite interesting that regard but that
449s bonus accuracy that you get is actually
452s huge like this is going to make it the
453s most accurate weapon in the game by
454s quite a margin and it's going to make it
456s actually possible to mage some bosses
458s like zillion and crear any boss that has
461s pretty high regular defense and pretty
463s high magic defense this weapons accuracy
465s will actually make it viable to use
467s major responses like zillion and uh
470s if you want more information about like
471s what bosses this might actually be good
473s at check the blog there's a bunch of
474s examples in there
475s and but that's generally the idea and i
478s think this is pretty crazy weapon and
481s i'm just going to go over a couple of
482s the common questions we've had since
483s we're releasing it
485s will the accuracy and damage triple
487s passive only work with the inbuilt spell
489s or with all spells and casted while
492s wielding and stuff it'll only work with
493s the inbuilt spell because it's more like
495s a powered staff similar to slang and
497s everything it'll be anything you attack
499s with that inbuilt spell so if you
500s manually cast a barrage you're not going
502s to be benefiting from the triple
503s accuracy and damage that'd be
505s crazy um
507s i liked the hacker can we still have it
509s there's a lot of the sentiment that the
510s heck was quite quirky and unique i think
512s going forward we genuinely feel
514s raids aren't the place to have these
517s like wacky weird rewards and i think we
519s kind of want to really push like these
521s really powerful demand best slot items
524s from raids and for other pieces of
526s content like group bosses and solar
528s bosses i think that'd be the earliest
529s experiment with more interesting
532s items like the hacker so we definitely
534s are still interested in offering that
535s weapon just proposing that potentially
537s not from here
539s uh we can't equip the ward at the same
541s time is this a problem so there's a bit
543s of sentiment around we have a the
545s offhand the the
546s ward of allah dennis which is the new
547s best assault major fan from toa as well
550s as passed and you wouldn't be able to
552s equip that with the shadow so obviously
553s that's it's kind of lame right you kind
555s of want to equip the two new best and
557s slimes from this raid and i get the cut
560s center behind that completely the word
562s is still going to have it in a lot of
563s use right wherever you're using barrage
565s and like kodai and things like that it's
567s still going to be best in slot wherever
568s you're still going to use sang because
570s sports is still really relevant and all
572s of the health that sang can give you is
574s still going to be very desirable in a
575s lot of pieces of content reward is still
577s going to be really relevant for that as
578s well so it's not like uh the word has no
581s purpose but it's obviously got less
583s purpose uh compared to the hacker but i
586s don't think that's necessarily a problem
589s uh but obviously those know what you
590s think um
592s magic is still kind of broken why not
594s fix magic as a whole so this is
595s something we've talked about quite a lot
598s um magic as a whole is kind of wonky
600s like things have got like ridiculously
602s high defenses the standard spellbook's
604s quite lackluster and janky
606s there's a lot of things we can improve
608s about magic we still want to do that
610s it's just a huge project and we want to
612s do it right and that's not something
614s we're looking to tackle with toa as a
616s whole and it's going gonna be a smaller
618s scale but we'd definitely be interested
619s doing that in the future for sure
622s and
623s the weapon doesn't have any strict
624s drawbacks like scythe or tebow is it too
627s strong so scythe can only be used
629s realistically on a three by three tivo
631s can only be used effectively on a
633s monster that's like 200 plus magic level
635s so that's kind of seen as a restriction
638s in reality it's not really much of a
639s restriction most bosses in the game are
640s three by three or above and side's
642s pretty good at tebow's got a lot of
645s monsters so it's not really niche it's
647s kind of like a fake niche but i get the
648s point right it gives you a different way
650s to balance a weapon and give other
652s weapons viability
654s uh what we're kind of leaning on here is
656s the fact that you need quite a lot of
658s magic switches for this weapon weapons
659s get really really powerful and really
661s really worth using so that's kind of the
663s drawback if you only want to bring the
664s sang or a one one way switch this weapon
667s isn't very good and obviously you're
668s gonna lose all the healing from sang if
669s you're comparing it to that
671s if we do eventually get around to
673s rebalancing the whole elemental and harm
675s et cetera harm would still have its
677s purpose its power and so we don't think
680s it's necessary but again give us
682s feedback if you feel like it's too
683s strong
684s and
685s it's obviously an assertive process and
687s i wrote down a lot of it questions about
689s the harm in general like can we buff the
691s heart
692s can we like fix the altar cast with the
694s harm
695s we agree with all this right tomofire is
697s kind of janky and the autocast system is
698s kind of janky harm's just in a really
700s weird space where it's just really
702s really rare but
704s we're still aware of it we're not
705s looking to fix it short term or anything
707s i think the best solution personally is
709s just reworking elemental spells and
711s elemental defenses and stuff like that
713s so it's more natural where harm ends up
714s becoming better at and this may end up
717s affecting harm and um double fire in
720s some different ways as well and but i
722s think that would fall into that whole
724s magic rework as a as a whole
727s um
729s yeah i think i managed to finish for two

794s thursday talked about some changes that
796s we want to bring in for group ironman so
799s it's exclamation mark group iron man
800s changes or gim changes if you haven't
803s seen the blog yet definitely catch up on
804s that
805s i'll summarize the blog in short so the
807s first thing that we pitched is an
809s unranked group iron man mode it's
811s basically a way for group iron men to
813s merge groups
815s currently if you want to
817s invite a new group group ironman to your
819s existing group the new member needs to
821s be a fresh account and unranked group
823s imam would allow existing group imm
826s players to merge
827s we're also talking about a group imam
829s boss bash so this is a raffle
831s competition um basically encouraging
834s group iron men to participate in group
836s activities and you earn raffle points
839s system holds no in-game value
841s at all they're not tradable
843s um it just enters you into a raffle
845s where you win
846s either one years or lifetime membership
848s if you're lucky enough
849s um and then we also touched upon the
851s idea of tradable untradables which was
854s pitched
855s i think in december
856s um we held off on that change and
859s obviously the community had a lot to say
861s about that um so we're hoping to get
863s into your questions for um the team
865s today um we're gonna start off with
867s questions about the group boss bash and
869s then we'll go into stuff like
871s untradables and things like that so
873s first question i'm starting with is lots
875s of mmos and other popular games use
878s events to boost engagement
880s one great thing about old school is how
881s conservatively this is applied
884s what can you do to reassure players that
886s osrs won't lean too far into events and
889s other limited releases
891s i did put a few notes on this so i'll
893s start first
895s just as i said earlier there are no
897s in-game items to be won
899s and this kind of raffle idea is
901s something that we have talked about in
902s the past on live streams and it was
904s received quite positively as a concept
906s we felt that given the fact that we
908s would like to bring in some changes to
910s group iron men
911s in the form of increasing accessibility
914s we thought this is like the perfect
916s opportunity to tempt people who are
918s maybe no longer playing
920s just to come back or existing players
922s who might want to have a new goal to
924s work towards
925s we think it's just something fun and
927s we're just kind of trialling it to see
929s how it goes
930s and we definitely care about the
931s community response that's kind of why we
933s have a survey for feedback and we're
936s seeing how you guys um respond to it
938s really so that's kind of my piece uh
941s what do you guys think as um
943s as developers
945s so i think
946s the first point about sort of how
948s conservative old school is with
951s with events is absolutely so important
955s that's the thing that i think is at the
957s top most list it's kind of one of these
959s things this whole
960s school as much as we're not really
962s written it down as a golden rule
965s it's one of these things that is
966s absolutely paramount that when when
969s we're thinking about stuff like this
971s so
972s the way i kind of think of it is
975s no matter when you play whether you want
977s to play tomorrow night at the weekend
982s it doesn't give you any advantages
985s to your program
987s on your account
989s be it the skill leveling access to like
992s different rewards whatever it is so that
995s would rule out something like a double
998s xp weekend or something like that which
1000s would obviously increase engagement but
1004s in what school sees is not a way that
1006s fits our philosophy
1009s while something like a competition
1011s we're seeing a little bit differently
1014s yes it's increasing engagement it's a
1016s bit of fun that's on one hand but
1018s competition is just that it's set it's
1021s kind of separate the rewards are
1023s external your account
1025s and thus you don't care about membership
1027s and that's not really what you're going
1028s for it's only a nice little extra if you
1030s win anyway it's just a little bit of a
1033s nudge a little bit of fun to have as
1034s opposed to i need to do this because i'm
1037s going to get double experience or
1038s something like that
1040s um
1042s if if that all makes sense that's kind
1044s of what i wanted to say on on this sort
1046s of in that sort of topic
1052s well does any other doves want to jump

1056s i guess it's like i guess

1067s whole like why is it just carmen
1069s and i think it just ties down

1073s you know we're trying some restriction

1079s to maybe come back and do a fun event a
1081s lot of them's underlying have been
1084s just easy how can we make this more of a
1087s structure so that if we want apply this
1090s to other game modes it's like iron man
1092s mains the rest the community maybe it's
1094s not bosses it's other things are very
1096s easy to
1098s sort of expand on so we're definitely
1100s writing it in that sort of way where
1102s it's not going to be a lot of work for
1103s another developer to do that um and that
1105s just comes down to whether or not
1106s players want to have these kind of
1108s things where you know they're they're
1109s competing like for membership really
1111s they're not competing for you know like
1112s a
1113s limited um
1115s like item you know
1117s or boost in their xb or something

1126s what i was going to say was i i think
1128s it's just like a good time to have that
1131s competition for group iron man now
1133s specifically because we're going to be
1134s focusing on group bosses and
1137s if you were there at the beginning of
1139s group iron man when it launched you're
1140s probably at a place now where you're
1143s looking to get into bossing
1145s uh
1145s obviously some people have been bossing
1147s for a while already some are really fast
1149s but i think like yeah
1152s people who
1153s don't play as much are getting to that
1156s point now and and this could be a really
1158s good push to like
1159s really like
1160s go try something new perhaps you know my
1162s gear might not be optimal but i can
1165s still have fun going dks with my group
1167s and maybe we'll win some membership at
1168s the same time
1171s sounds really exciting to me um all
1173s right so moving on to the next question
1175s how will the raffle tickets affect your
1178s chance of winning
1180s because it works as a raffle right it's
1182s not like the most amount of people
1184s the most amount of points wins so can
1187s you explain a bit more about that side
1189s of things
1194s yeah um i think the term raffle is just
1197s the best sort of way to describe it i'm
1199s not sure people
1200s like maybe people aren't familiar with
1202s that but if you can imagine every time a
1203s boss that's a ticket to the hat with
1205s your name on it right
1208s you know and if you've got more tickets
1209s in this hat
1210s when we pull out the winners there's
1212s your group's name is going to be on this
1214s ticket right and the first name we pull
1216s out i think was it if we announced how
1218s much membership they're getting yet
1220s we've done that uh we have yeah
1223s cool so yeah like first ticket would be
1224s lifetime then the next like nine would
1226s be like i think it's a year or something
1227s like that right so obviously you could
1230s be
1230s you know all maxed accounts super
1232s efficient playing 12 hours a day and you
1235s might still only have like five percent
1237s of the tickets right you know be one in
1239s 20 chance
1240s and there's only 10 pools you know we
1243s all like our drop rates in runescape
1244s maybe it's still not the best but you're
1245s increasing your odds right so i think
1247s this makes it like more fair and open to
1249s a lot of people it's less about like
1251s kind of a game and how can i optimize
1252s and get the most kills per hour but more
1254s just hey let's participate in this maybe
1256s change up our activities maybe we were
1257s all considering
1259s uh going and doing
1261s i don't know
1263s a bunch of slayer bosses you know
1265s they're not included in the list we're
1266s gonna grind up primordials and now maybe
1268s instead you're gonna say hey let's do
1270s some nightmare tonight let's see if we
1271s get lucky get an inquisitor's piece
1273s get an orb or
1275s and also get some raffle tickets on the
1276s side you know
1280s awesome great um so next question is the
1282s raffle system sounds like a great idea
1285s are we planning or looking at
1286s implementing the raffle system for other
1288s types of accounts
1290s i can actually speak to that i looked at
1291s the survey results today
1294s um i know it's only been 24 hours but it
1296s does seem like the majority of
1297s respondents to that survey seemed in
1299s favor
1300s of implementing the system across
1303s you know not just group iron men but
1305s other types of accounts so i was
1306s wondering what do you guys think about
1308s this
1309s um kieran we'll stop with you first
1312s absolutely it's it's got potential to do
1315s that and so this is kind of
1317s as you say
1318s it's just an experiment almost to begin
1320s with and playing with group iron men we
1322s like the social dynamics of groups
1324s getting the ink requirement to almost do
1326s something together as part of of the
1328s desire here
1330s um
1330s but now that we've got a system
1333s it can naturally be extended in theory
1335s to all accounts or indeed different
1338s types of content it doesn't have to be
1340s bosses
1341s it could be anything arbitrary as long
1343s as we tell you what it is and give you a
1344s list of points for a completion or
1347s whatever we could absolutely do that and
1350s i think it even ties into one of the
1351s ideas we talked about in the game jam
1353s yesterday we like this sort of seasonal
1355s high score
1357s system like in theory we can sort of
1359s provide a
1360s competition like most
1363s most agility laps completed you know
1365s that maybe isn't the most exciting idea
1367s you can imagine the same system right
1369s every lap you complete you get a ticket
1370s and we could even have that on the high
1372s scores so you can see actually how many
1373s tickets you've got compared to other
1374s people like
1376s and there's a lot of potential to do
1377s more of this
1379s but we are going to be looking at sort
1380s of
1381s how well does this one work
1383s does the community like it
1385s and sort of base our decision on that
1387s but just certainly seemed like this
1389s appetite for for this to extend to other
1391s things too
1394s awesome great
1395s so tell us if you like it guys and tell
1397s us if you don't we want to know
1400s but hopefully you like it
1401s um next question will there be free to
1403s play bosses added to the boss bash
1407s do we know

1413s yeah i believe so we've been focusing on
1416s group bosses and there aren't really any
1419s group bosses in free to play i think
1421s so
1422s yeah it's only paid to play for now
1427s okay great um sorry husky you go ahead

1432s i said the kvd isn't free to play but
1434s that was the first one that jumped in my
1435s head like is it
1437s and
1438s but yeah you're right it is just mostly
1441s focusing on group masters like every
1443s single boss on there you know and it was
1445s just kind of
1446s feels like against the spirit again your
1448s group iron man and probably killing
1450s cerberus you know
1456s maybe we'll look towards some free to
1457s play type things if we decide to hold
1460s this type of event in the future but for
1462s now
1462s looks like the boss bash is mainly for
1465s group bosses which seem to be members
1468s mostly
1469s will there be a penalty for gim who join
1471s a team just to win the raffle and then
1474s leave the team that was one of the
1476s questions that came up is that possible
1478s to
1479s rig it that way or
1482s something along those lines
1487s so
1488s from from my conversation with adse
1491s which is our analytics department
1493s they'll be doing the draw of this
1496s um and from
1498s you know the way we send the data across
1500s to them
1501s um
1502s i believe the winner will be chosen or
1504s sorry that the group that will win i
1507s suppose is the group you had at the time
1510s of killing the given boss
1513s so if i'm in a group with husky and
1515s kieran and we go kill the case and my
1518s name gets pulled from that dk kill
1521s even if the draw is like a week later
1524s i was still in the group with them at
1525s the time which means that all three of
1527s us won even if i left the group after
1532s nice
1534s sorted easy
1536s um okay so
1538s other questions is uh what are our plans
1540s to stop cheating accounts
1543s from winning in the raffle
1545s or bots
1547s i know that we do like a cents check on
1549s winners generally like when we're
1550s holding a competition
1552s we do do that sense check that we do for
1554s dmm so i believe that we'll be doing
1557s that in this situation
1559s um
1560s and i think that's kind of generally how
1562s we tend to approach these types of
1563s things but if anybody has anything more
1565s to add let me know
1569s you covered it absolutely when when the
1570s winners are chosen the sentence checks
1572s will be done
1573s and if essentially if broken the rules
1575s it'll go down to the sort of next next
1578s pick
1580s great um so can the raffle be broken
1583s down by team size for example a five man
1585s team might have better odds at winning
1587s against a two or three man team
1595s is there something we
1597s can um it's something i did think about
1600s when when we were thinking about this
1602s this sort of design
1603s we thought rather keep it simple and now
1606s i do realize that that means a five-man
1609s team has an advantage over a two-man but
1611s because it's in this raffle system
1614s it's and we're not putting it on sort of
1616s most tickets wins the most points wins
1620s it's kind of fair it's still open to
1622s everybody
1623s um
1624s it's still generally the more you do the
1626s better chance
1627s and
1628s it's not going to make a drastic
1630s difference in the day and so that's the
1633s kind of feeling on it but it's totally
1635s possible we could look at this more in

1738s should you be able to trade like things
1739s like arrows gear and crystal armor like
1741s things that you are tradeable at a
1743s different state um but you just need to
1745s do something before you trade this is
1746s more more like a convenience store
1748s and stuff was cashed with like should
1750s groups only get that feature when that
1753s that's something that you might be able
1755s to do
1756s and realistically there's no reason why
1758s we couldn't just offer that stuff apart
1759s from the whole when you're trading
1761s something to somebody we don't can't
1763s currently show the person in the window
1765s like what state that's in like oh i'm
1767s buying a two percent toradex
1769s plate body so it i should be paying less
1772s money for like trades and that generally
1774s we would be open offering if we could up
1776s open it up to everybody else

1780s the other stuff was super controversial
1782s though i mean i don't know who was there
1783s were things like should you be able to
1785s trade like golden nuggets to um
1788s your another your friend like you did
1790s all the mining and model mine you give
1791s him the nuggets and he can buy
1792s prospector and stuff or graceful so you
1794s can like split up the grinds and that
1796s seems super cool from like a group
1797s ironman perspective but that does really
1800s open up the ability to get like niche
1802s accounts
1803s um
1804s where you know you could suddenly have
1806s like an account that's like level one
1808s agility and has full graceful right and
1810s then that person d irons becomes a main
1812s and that was something there was a lot
1813s of backlash on in creating these niche
1815s accounts that was something we
1816s specifically didn't want to have
1817s available with the group iron man game
1819s mode
1820s um
1820s is to have these accounts that like
1822s couldn't could get into states that the
1824s main accounts couldn't
1826s uh um we said on it if you were liking
1828s the more harmless stuff potentially
1830s we'll relook at it if we get the tech to
1831s be able to
1832s open that up for everyone else but
1834s as it stands it just didn't seem fair to
1836s offer
1837s um a benefit to this one group mode over
1841s another and that was the sentiment we
1842s seemed to get from the community at the
1843s time right because we were kind of on
1845s the fence at the time and that's why we
1846s put in a blog but i mean
1849s players might not be remembering all the
1850s details now but that was that was the
1852s conclusion we definitely drew at the
1853s time after looking at all that
1854s information right um
1856s again conversations could open up if the
1859s community suddenly swings the other way
1860s we could change our mind on that and say
1863s sure groups can do it but
1865s yeah i guess that's what it was we we
1867s kind of felt like it was overwhelmingly
1869s so mixed that it's not worth pushing
1872s um and i guess maybe that does open up
1874s the hole maybe the answer is polite but

1879s yeah i i don't know if it felt like as
1881s well it was just such a
1883s a low priority thing for the sake of
1886s just like barrow's armor as well right

2149s to take that away from people

2162s of concern about people bringing in
2164s items to the group and that being unfair

2175s could be in a group get a tebow in that
2177s group and then move over to another

2206s high scores like we want to do that on

2216s these accounts in the game
2218s so if you see someone with the tebow
2220s like if you see an iron man today with a
2222s t-bone you know that that person got it
2224s themselves right or

2232s zebo you assume that some person and
2234s that group got it but with unbanked
2236s that's not going to be the case anymore

2253s green instead of blue

2346s game mode while you're playing with you

2352s not getting to a position where you can
2354s show off achievements that you've kind

2516s if somebody else is in your iron ore
2518s spot or your granite mine you're hopping
2521s to find another world if somebody's
2523s chopping your trees it's a disadvantage

2526s to be in the same world and
2528s it's that sort of stuff that i'd love to
2530s make find a way to to make it more
2532s social so that you can do it with others
2535s and second to that
2537s i would love to find more spaces for
2538s like actual team group content rather
2541s than just literally you can be around
2543s other people you do it with other people
2546s so sort of like a raid is obviously a
2548s team team thing you need a dedicated

3150s with their friends that they can't

3174s were saying that it was essentially what

3189s becoming unranked do you still lose all
3192s of your tradable items
3195s no so you get to keep them

3206s removing the trade restriction

3399s um will there be restrictions on how
3401s often unranked gims can join other teams
3406s so i believe unright gim will still have
3409s the um
3411s a one week like buffer i suppose when
3413s leaving a group and this is kind of just
3416s a safety measure to make sure that um
3418s you really want to leave the group and
3420s that you're not um
3423s you know you have the time to change
3424s your mind you're not just doing it on
3426s the willy-nilly but also
3428s if your account got hijacked they can't
3429s just leave
3431s your group um
3433s obviously with unranked you could just
3435s be invited back again again so the
3437s consequences aren't that bad
3439s uh but there is still that like one week
3442s cool down before you can leave a group
3444s so that's really the only um
3447s time between swapping groups that we
3449s have
3451s awesome okay um i just want to get into
3454s one last question before we end the
3455s stream because it came up a lot in
3457s player feedback
3458s so i'm going to hop down um to this one
3461s will we be looking at player owned
3463s housing again um so there was a very uh
3467s frequently asked request for a single
3469s player in house or a house which members
3472s may access while offline um just want to
3475s address that kind of topic because we
3477s saw it come a lot up a lot in feedback
3479s and obviously the devs are here we did
3482s explain at the time that this would be a
3484s lot of work
3485s um when we kind of launched group iron
3488s man
3489s but any updates on kind of play around
3491s housing and stuff like that um so yeah
3495s anyone can take this question
3500s sure
3501s when so
3501s when it came up
3504s before uh with the laundry group iron
3506s man essentially or just in the months
3508s after
3510s we we discussed different
3512s implementations of this and how it could
3514s theoretically be done
3517s one thing that a lot of people wanted
3518s was to be able to go to someone's house
3520s even though they're offline
3522s unfortunately we can't do that due to
3524s tech limitations we can't read
3527s players variables if they're offline
3531s so you can't you know find the right
3533s house variables and all that
3536s um the other thing we thought about was
3539s making something similar to the clan
3541s hall
3543s but that was a really really big project
3545s at the time the clan hall
3547s uh or a big part of clans at least at
3549s the time
3550s and so we didn't feel comfortable
3551s spending that amount of time on
3554s something that
3558s is this niche you know
3560s and we found the um
3563s we found that we could eat we could
3565s instead improve the uh the poh
3568s experience for these accounts uh which
3570s is why you can now like enter your
3573s group's house you can teleport to their
3575s house
3577s and that sort of thing
3579s the teleports have definitely made an
3581s improvement that's certainly made it a
3583s lot easier to do this
3585s but yeah i kind of say it's what people
3587s want right it's like one member of their
3589s group can be the person who trains
3590s construction and then everyone can kind
3592s of use that house
3594s pretty easily
3597s but yeah i think
3599s unless there's any other sort of obvious
3600s easy improvements like the teleporting
3602s that we've done i don't really see a
3604s technical way to
3606s to achieve exactly
3608s what people are asking for
3612s there you have it guys we are limited by
3614s technology we really really really want
3616s to give this to you because we know it
3618s comes up so much but we see it come up
3620s so many times and i just thought it was
3623s important for us to address on stream we
3625s hear you but
3626s yeah we just can't technically see a way
3629s to do it um at this time
3631s um but it's it's unfortunate but
3634s hopefully the construction grinds go
3636s well um
