tldr: Please Bring back Poe Battle Royale, even for 1 day or week-end. It was fun, you can make it as an event in every league (Maybe in the second month of the league or when it is ending) It can bring back some players in the late state of leagues.

I can't speak to the server expenses but the main thing in the way right now is that we originally just whipped it together to have a day of giggles. There are quite a few improvements we want to make before we can bring it back as an official event. So it's mostly a matter of when we can allocate development time to it. We did discuss it for our December events but there wasn't quite enough lead-time for us to make it work this time around.
the problem is we're into what? Year two since it appeared? I didn't get to play even a minute of it the one time it was available.
This is the same problem as Official Race seasons: Remember those? Supposedly they were going away temporarily until you guys could "devote the attention they deserve" and you're holding off until you can "do racing seasons right" but that time never came, and now we all just accept that they never will come back...
Anyway as I'm posting a semi argumentative reply to Bex I'm sure I'll get positively pummeled with downvotes but IMO this needed to be said...

The race seasons point is particularly tough. I personally love race seasons and I've been pushing to see a comeback for them for a long time. We had actually lined up plans for that this year and hired someone to help us with them but then our borders closed and now we can't get them here yet. Hopefully that will become more possible soon.
