So I’m actually a huge fan of the continents changes for multiplayer and domination. I’m loving what markets and bridges are doing for city building. But honestly the map gen for perfection is grossing me out and i think this screenshot illustrates why. In classic perfection all 16 tribes are spread out evenly into their own “section” of the world. There was always 16 cities in a rough 4x4 grid, with no empty villages. By the end of the 30 turns you can pretty constantly control every tile in the map. Now it seems like tribes spawn more randomly which already leads to janky tile gaps in the map where no city could possibly control. This would already be bad enough since every tile counts towards points for revealing and controlling. But look at this huge un-claimable ocean to the east…. a whole 1/8th of the map that i could never have controlled and built temples on… it just feels…. so very wrong for perfection.
