POLYTOPIA CONCEPT

“The Military Update”

New Building -Training Camp-

Cost: 5 Stars

Use: Can train units with respect to a city’s population. (Therefore, if the city population is full, you can't train units in that city's training camp.)

New Building -Barricade-

Cost: 3 Stars

Availability: Cannot be built on mountains or waters, can be occupied by enemy units, can be built more than once. inside city borders.

Use: Acts like a unit; imposes obstruction of enemy movement on all adjacent tiles. (If you’re still confused, it’s essentially a building pretending to be a unit, and hence very much protects your backlines since it limits Knights and Riders threat in harrassing your backlines.

New Universal Skill -Pillage-

Allows all units occupying a tile in an enemy city to “Pillage” an infrastructure, essentially destroying any buildings in its occupied tile.

New Universal Movement -Formation-

Allows all units to swap with adjacent units.

Once a unit used “formation” with another, both units cannot move until the next turn.

New Unit -Banner-

Feel free to leave suggestions/ opinions, let me know if this seems is interesting or something. Do you think this might realistically make combat more engaging, or make it a bit too complex for your taste?

This just goes to show the ENDLESS and INFINITE possibilities this game can go. Like a few weeks ago the dwarve tribe concept. All these concepts would be awesome in this game. It's really a shame that we have to wait a year or 2 years for a brand new tribe. Why can't they produce a new tribe every 3 months. They would make the money, it's not like producing an AAA title game. This game has so much potential content they could add.

Trust me, you don't want us to make a new tribe every 3 months.

I know, that's why I as to explain more

Midjiwan says "Don't make mods, thanks".

And we respect his wishes.

Yes I understand. I have read this thing 10s of times.

But never seen any explain or argumentation.

Well, ultimately, Midjiwan considers the game a "work of art", more or less, and to keep things simple, he don't want mods by people "trying to fix" things he's already fixing. Mod support may come later after he considers the game "done", but for now, our spaghetti code isn't set up for that sort of thing.
