It just feels really weird imagining one little guy defending a city . Maybe it's cause I play eu4 though

Yeah, in the lore, they are battalions, not single units.

Even giants?

The exception

I’m assuming Gaami, Centipedes, Crabs, and Dragons also go under that exception?

Yes

That seems kinda high. Every unit is around 1000 soldiers? I always imagined them as a squad of 10 or less.

I'd say it's a lot more than 10. The HP is meant to be just a general indicator of fighting ability, not a number of soldiers.

So that’s why dmg goes down at low HP?

Yep!

Loss of troops, injuries, low morale, and etc

so a giant one shotting a warrior is actually a giant crushing like a dozen of them in a single hit? now that's cool

Yep!

But how big are they?

Os they only a bir bigger than a human or is they a skyskraper?

Giants? Well, Polytopians are only 4 inches tall, so Giants are like....2 feet?

That's a rough guesstimate, as we haven't released a canon height for Giants, only the Polytopians

how many warriors would be in a unit then

Depends on the tribe, I guess

I always thought that they were small mostly because of the Cymanti fruit

BTW, does this mean the centipedes are just normal IRL size?

Probably much longer, as their bodies span multiple kilometers (or whatever their equivalent is).

So is recovery getting new recruits or tactical egg laying?

Probably a combo of both.

New recruits, reproduction, medical aid, etc.

I mean the reproduction thing is quite funny, "running out of troops, just have children!"

But it would also be efficient since I can imagine something that small would grow to maturity in the span of a couple hours

Canonically, I think they'll grow to adulthood in 5 years (and gestate in the egg for 5 months), but that's still ridiculously fast, especially comparing humans.

God, how about cymanti troops? Is it just a bunch of tiny hexapods eating a poor army of houses alive?

Yes

What about cloaks and mind benders? They're also battalions?

Cloaks? Probably not.

Mind Benders? Probably more like a cabal or other small grouping.

Zebasi is all about population.

The others? That's irrelevant, honestly
