Yeah they can be good, but still nobody goes for a "maybe maybe useful" unit that costs two techs to unlock.

That's why I thought 2 defence is great so it dies less fast. It can't retaliate back for obvious reasons.

Idk, retaliation conversion sounds hilarious

Instead of bombarding you with announcements for small changes, we're moving over to a long-running thread that will help us tell you what's being adjusted.

So, if you want to know what's changed, all changelogs will go here. Of course, big updates will still get a proper announcement. Also, this isn't for betas, but public releases.

Just updated the Unity version, so nothing much.

Had to be done, but wasn't too sure if we should like..."make a big deal over it". 😅

But man did it suck going from android to apple and losing my purchase of every tribe, don’t think I’ve touched the game since sadly because of my unwillingness to pay for it all again.

I can help you out. Just send me a DM

I'm a software dev myself, so would like to understand what's stopping you guys from doing that. I get that Play Store/Apple store, etc. will have different payment pipelines but you can store user purchase details centrally and just charge them a new platform fee post which they can access their purchased tribes on the new device (like Supercell do it)

This will cut your revenue definitely but it's a sacrifice to make this game better on the long run

Synced user accounts? They're a lot harder than it might sound, especially with our setup. It'd mean a lot over backend overhauling and money, and we're not too sure if we can do that yet.

Why even bother making it compatible for different platforms when you don't even allow purchases to be restored across platforms. 😐

I can pay for the base game on each platform. I would love to, because I appreciate the devs. But making me pay for every tribe on every platform just shows greed or lack of efforts

We'd love to make a unified system, but man, that'd mean a full overhauling of pretty much everything.

Thank you. It sounds like the game at least runs on the Deck. Are there any plans to add better compatibility in the future?
Yes, we're trying to get this fixed, but we don't have an ETA yet.

Just a bug. You might need to try it again.

Well, yeah, kinda? We all know that the units in the game are abstractions of armies, but like, this? You could probably say that it's "A Swordsman unit fighting a Warrior in a city," but really, don't look too closely. :P

No one said they were good at their jobs, just that they have border patrols. :P
