Can someone from PUBG - (maybe u/SteveTheHappyWhale) please provide us with acknowledgement that their CS/Dev teams are aware and actively looking at the current crashing issues that are plaguing players?
Although anecdotal - if I were to use myself as a 'canary in the mine' - then this is someone who has played for x thousands of hours, over x years, now considering seriously, for the first time ever, to stop playing the game entirely. This is due to repeated crashes to desktop from almost every other game. (for myself I work in technology and confident the issue does not lie with local hardware/software. Others have said similar).
You also have high profile streamers making highly visible statements on the matter: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1460609690?t=0h0m27s) and now refusing to play the game.
A quick search on this sub sees numerous reports since the last major update - and the best those reporters are told is to contact CS. Which is fair enough for typical background rate of issues, but when critical mass is reached, companies are expected to acknowledge the issue and provide some comfort statement that it is being address in a certain time frame. Communication needs to improve here.
A statement either here or on twitter PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Support (@PUBG_Support) / Twitter would be most welcomed.
The game has finally gained some momentum from the influx of new players via F2P - but this will be quickly squandered away as people will be leaving in significant numbers.
