Hey, your game / system files may have gone corrupt due to a faulty update download or similar. Please try verifying the game files, if that does not help then perform a clean reinstall by replacing all game files (anticheat and config files as well). Further you can scan your system for corrupt/missing important OS files by using the DISM and SFC windows commands.

*Still sad there's no option to practice with all sidearms in TDM :(

After the update, settings only allow you to change between glow and pulse. Before you could disable it entirely.

The setting you are looking for is Highlight recommended ammo/equipment.

We are aware with an issue associated with this feature that causes it to get re-enabled after you restart / relaunch the game and have reported it internally.

About the granade timer, I don't like it. Mostly because it clutters up the UI. Other than that I don't care about it.

Every ammo stack looks like 9mm. And if there's multiple items they get hidden in the glow.

This is a bug that was hotfixed a few hours ago. Selecting the "glow" effect in the loot flash effect setting will get rid of the orange glow.

Pulse/Glow setting has been, untouched, in the game for several years now. Pulse was added in update 6.3 and it can be disabled by selecting the glow option which removes the orange color and shows the default item glow effect which is yellow-ish.

The bug which caused both pulse and glow flash effects to glow in bright orange color has been resolved through a hotfix a few hours ago.
