Hi,

Start off with pc specs: 16gb DDR4 RAM, GTX1060 6GB, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, game is on SSD.

So before I was getting a solid 100 FPS av. At 1440p lowish settings. Now everytime I play a game every 2-3 seconds I have a huge stutter, in which I can't move at all the whole game freezes for a second then it goes back to normal and the cycle repeats. When it is not freezing I am getting the same frames as before but the stutters make the game impossible to play, which is really annoying because I wanted to spend more time playing ranked games ping is fine at around 30 constantly

Things I've tried,

A fresh install of the game

Changing various settings, like v-sync
In game and Nvidia setting, non of which have had any effect

Basically tried every trick in the book but still get these freezes/stutters

Ps every other game works perfectly, warzone runs at same frames as before (around 80) at med settings

Please could you try and help?

Hey there.

I'm sorry to hear that. Are you able to test launching the game after a clean boot to see if this helps at all with performance?

Used to have constant 140-120 fps in the game but now I have random 1 sec fps drops to 36 fps and some stuttering every few minutes.
Thank you for adding your experience to this thread, I'll keep the driver update in mind in case we see more reports.

@Dauood1 If the issue remains, would it be possible to provide a video with your FPS visible please? You can enable an FPS counter in the Uplay PC application.

I also recommend checking Task / Resource Manager or an analytics application of your choosing to check whether any component's usage is high during the stuttering.

Thank you!

Also, I think CPU and GPU usage gets extremely high, but I am not sure why because in other games the CPU and GPU usage is fine, for example, GTA or warzone never stutters and holds frames around 100fps constantly and med/high settings so I'm not sure what's going on here.
Thank you for the update.

Would it be possible to try the steps deviant.iZnoGuD suggested purely for troubleshooting purposes?

This may help us get to the route of the problem and help us understand what else we can do

Thank you very much for the video, that certainly helps understand the issue from your perspective.

Would it perhaps also be possible to try my suggestions above? It would also help knowing specifically what FPS you are getting and whether any component in particular is being stressed.

All the best!

Hey longthings.100T

Can I check that you have tried the steps previously mentioned?

Many thanks in advance
