It happens whenever a round starts or whenever i leave a menu. Sometimes it will bring up the steam overlay too! Before I get the questions here is the deal. It only happens in R6 online and offline modes. Ive tried re-installing the game, all default settings, swapping the keybinds, turning off mouse software, changing keyboards, unplugging controllers, restarting my pc and updated drivers!!!! none of those worked. I have 200 hours played on siege and never had the issue untill last night...

Hello @baileyjayfan, welcome to thew forums.

Can I also ask what keyboard model are you using and what region this is for? UK layout, US, other, so we know exactly what kind of keyboard it is you use?

For keyboard and input issues like this, I would recommend checking the following steps,as they have been known to fix keyboard issues for some players in the past >>

Step 1: Do you have any programs running in Windows Task Manager whilst playing the game, other than mouse software such as >

Full-screen Game Overlays - Overwolf / Geforce Experience
VoIP and Chat services - TeamSpeak / Mumble / Discord / Skype / Raptr
RGB controllers - Razer Synapse / SteelSeries Engine / Logitech G Hub
Overclocking Software - EVGA Precision X / MSI Afterburner / RivaTuner / ASUS GPU Tweak / ASUS Smart Doctor / Gamer OSD
Hardware monitoring - MSI Kombuster / Fraps
Streaming software - OBS, Xsplit Gamecaster
Peer to Peer software - BitTorrent / uTorrent
Cloud syncing - OneDrive
VPN LAN - Hamachi

If so, they could be a cause of issues with key mapping. Can you please follow this guide to disable these programs from running in the background and restart your computer? > https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000063761: (https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000063761)

Step 2: Please try switching off any game launcher overlays you may have running in-game, to test if the overlay is causing issues with key mapping and controls.

Step 3: Have you checked if your keyboard language settings in your Windows settings, as this can sometimes cause issues with key mapping? Please locate the following settings >

- Click on the desktop start menu and click on the Settings cog
- Select Time & language
- Select Language
- Check under Preferred Languages if English is set to default
- Next, select the keyboard icon and check your default language for this too. You can download different language profiles for your keyboard from the Microsoft Supports website if you wish.

Let me know what happens after you have tried all of the steps listed above and what you discovered?
