I'm not sure what is causing this on our end, it could just be forum sillies as others have been confirmed as being able to register; how about you friend me on Steam and we can chat via DM and get you an account made.

I'm not having any problems registering new accounts on my end; sometimes the forum's security gets antsy about people trying to register while using certainly VPNs, any chance you're using one?

This is almost too comical to even react to, but I do have to follow the Ludeon Community Rules just like everyone else. Locking the thread and issuing a 1 day ban for Rule 2, toxic behavior.

Interesting, thanks for letting us know. It looks like Steam made it default to Proton. I did a quick comparison between Linux Runtime vs Proton and it looks like Proton is faster for some reason. Startup time: 31s vs 35s.

We are wanting to collect the logs of people that are having issues so we can find common mods that may be reacting poorly to the update to increase compatibility, or contact mod authors on what steps may need to be made on their side to fix things.

Honestly I love the dryads, I'm one of those people that is willing to take an initial -10 mood hit to cut down trees in the beginning of the game though from the tree connection.

It integrates in to the game, though for the best experience I'd probably recommend starting a new colony.

Hey all, just a quick announcement that we have a new moderator, Harry and DianaWinters.

Harry has been helping me as a tester on discord and as a moderator on the official development server on discord for about half a year now.

Diana Winters is a mod author of the adorable Orassans mod and has been a game tester for RimWorld for several years now, as well as a moderator on the official RimWorld discord server and the official development server.

As of October 2022 I have brought a discussion group regular into the moderation team: ☢Doomdrvk☢ who is also a troubleshooter on the unofficial discord server.

I'll probably remain as a moderator but taking a back seat for the foreseeable future as I move on with real life.

As always, speech is very important, criticism and disagreement are valid and welcomed, but we have clear rules about personal attacks and other behavior that just degrades discussion. So we will continue help with that. ... Read more
