[Response #1] for Suggestions Collected before May 10

This is the first batch of suggestions we collected from all sources including Reddit, Discord, Customer Service, in-game chat and app store reviews.

With this blog, we would like to give you our response.

If you don’t see your suggestions here, it may because that we haven’t discussed them yet and they’ll be responded in a future blog.

Already Done

These suggestions have been accepted and are already featured in the game.

  • Show Lamp drop rate.

It has been added to the game in version 1.19.0. Please tap the “?” button at the bottom right corner of the Summoning Panel to view details.

  • The name “Violator” feels funny.

We have changed this hero’s cosmetics and renamed it to Alexandra. It’s a girl bat now.

  • Lower the number of summons required for a guaranteed Possessed King in the special summoning event from 200 to 120.

OK, it’s done. Although it will cut our income from this event nearly in half, we still did it. Because this is how we value your opinions, by acting.

Planed for Update Soon

These suggestions have been accepted and will be feature almost exactly as you suggested in an update coming very soon.

  • It shouldn’t be case sensitive when searching for players and guilds.

It will be fixed in version 1.20.0.

  • Some players apparently haven’t noticed Coffee Mixing until too late.

It’s great that you can combine low grade coffee to better ones. We’ll add a tutorial in version 1.20.0.

  • In special summoning events, some players thought that Legendary drop rates will be increased by 10 times.

This is not the case, the drop rate for Legendary heroes remain the same. But when you do summon a Legendary, it’ll most likely to be the featured hero. So, after some calculations, the over all drop rate for the featured hero is up by 10 times.

In future events after version 1.20.0, we’ll show the exact drop rate for each hero in an event, so you can have a better idea of what you’re getting into.

  • More free Energy or fewer Energy costs.

What we can do for now is to increase the Energy gift we send you in events. And we’ll also decrease the difficulty of completing event quests.

From our POV, the Energy producing and costing are pretty balanced. Let’s see how this goes and we’ll continue to make adjustments based on all players in the future.

  • Hero names and the amount of awakening crystals are hard to see clearly.

We’ll fix it in version 1.20.0.

Planed for Future Updates

These suggestions have been accepted and will be feature almost exactly as you suggested in an update coming later.

  • Guild War!

We’ve finished developing Guild War and will start testing internally soon! It may take some time, so please be patient and prepare your heroes and guilds for it.

  • Replay for Arena.

We are working on the function that allow you to replay the battle after you’ve been attacked in the Arena. It’ll be feature in an update coming in June.

  • Send Gold to and Collect Gold from all friends with on click.

It’s in development.

There are too many system messages that’re jamming the World Chat.

We’ll delete the announcements sent when new players upgrade their Rosalie awaken their Bashiq for the first time. It’ll reduce the traffic by a whole lot.

Constantly Undergoing

These suggestions have been accepted but are things that we need to constantly work on.

  • Weird translations of English.

We’re so sorry for this. As a non-English speaking dev team, we’re struggling with English translation. But we promise to check and correct tirelessly and give everyone a better experience.

This also applies to all other languages. If you have a suggestion in wording or spot a mistake, please tell us. Thank you for your help!

Under Consideration

These suggestions are valuable but may have some conflicts against our design philosophy. We will consider them more carefully. Although the results may not come out exactly as you pictured, we’ll try making them fun and rewarding for everyone.

  • Daily guild sign-in and rewards.

We’ll first roll out the Guild War, and with more demand on inter-guild interactions, we will collect more suggestions and reviews, and design better guild functions accordingly.

  • More Diamonds as reward for higher ranking players in the Arena.

We are considering the best way to do this. The increase in rewards may come in forms other than Diamonds but will be valuable and rewarding none the less.

  • Lower the cost for gem strengthening and increase the success rate.

We’re considering adding some kind of items to increase the chances for a successful strengthening.

  • Add more 3-star Hvn and Abs heroes as rewards for Top 20 players in the Arena.

We’ll consider how to do this after we add more 3-star Hvn and Abs to the game first.

When players level up, add the new max Energy to the current Energy.

We’ll consider adding it in a future update. It may seem easy, but it takes time to develop. And we are focusing on Guild War right now.

  • Remember each team used for each stage.

Due to server optimization needs, this kind of data can only be stored on your device, and it’s a lot. We’ll add more Scenario chapters in the near future, which requires even more data to be stored.

We’ll observe the need for this function and add it only when the majority of you really need it.

Not in Our Plans

These suggestions are in conflict against our design philosophy and is not currently planned for adjustment. But philosophy can be changed, do keep talking to us, and let’s see what the future brings.

  • Auto battle (auto farming) for the Tower.

The Tower rewards players who took the time and resources to develop the right team to farm efficiently. We want players to feel the thrill of achievement when they finally came on top of being the fastest guy to farm a Tower.

This function will take that away.

  • The battles in Expedition takes too long.

Making it take less time or easier is completely against what we want the Expedition to be. It is difficult by design, only by developing your team to a point that surpasses even the hardest Tower, can you battle in the Expedition faster.

We know that you may also feel the battle experience to be dull. To fix this, we will make adjustment to the enemies in each stage every month and make the battle feel more strategic.

  • In arena, remove the option to revenge a defense win.

If you won, you would want to know how you won, right? Experiences of winning is as valuable as hard lessons of losing.

Also, we want to give the decision of whether to revenge a defense win to the attacked players. A defense win means the attacker is not as strong as you, and they may be at a lower rank than you, meaning that revenging may not give you as many points as attacking a higher rank opponent. But if you don’t have any more lowering ranking opponent to “farm”, which is a situation anyone may encounter, you may want to revenge a defense win anyway to get some points when you can. The decision is yours.

Well then expedition is dead for me. I find that fights not interesting but simply time-consuming from the first level. A game should be fun and not punish with boredom

Our producer just agreed to further consider this and see how we can change this situation.

It may take some time since the Expedition is one of the more complicated systems.

frankly speaking they shud allow auto for towers. if anyone feels they need competition they can jus select the fight function rather then auto function. let both be available so the adventurers can select wat they wan.

Our decision isn't final, so there is still room for discussions. We'll talk more about it internally and see what we can do.
