ALL CRATER’S EVE is a celebration loved by Craterians of all ages: gifts are given, tricks are played and ghost stories are told in scary voices. If Crater were Earth, this would be a combination of Halloween and Day of the Dead, with an added touch of ancient Egyptian felines. Every region on Crater observes the holiday, but The Gemstone Jungle is the place to be if you want to see genuine ghosts on the prowl: the spectral spirits of the Jaaqua!
In fact, All Crater’s Eve has its roots in The Gemstone Jungle. Legend has it that long ago, the denizens of The Jungle placed candles along a bridge that spans the river running through The Ruined City. Then the flickering lights would guide The Spirits of the Jaaqua safely over the water. (Hey, they may be supernatural, but a cat’s a cat, and they hate getting wet.)
To express their ghostly gratitude, the Spirits of the Jaaqua gave gifts to those who provided assistance, and put a curse on those who tried to lead them into the water. Hence the old Gemstone Jungle saying, "It is better to light a candle on the bridge, than cheese off a Jaaqua." (Admittedly, it loses something in translation.)
Ruined City
The RUINED CITY lies deep within the Gemstone Jungle. The once-bustling metropolis with ziggurats and colonnades is slowly being reclaimed by nature, with many of its more delicate structures collapsed. What happened to the residents of this wonderful city?
There are a ton of new gameplay, hero, and mode changes to keep a look out for as well. For a few highlights, there is a new Profile Stats menu added into the Front End of the UI, there are several new seasonal items and modes to try out, and some good quality of life improvements.
