[2020] Think we should change it to no self promos?

I know the rule is 10 interactions for every self promo but I just saw two posts of someone's full stream who only has 13 comments on this sub ever. Another that legit will withhold information unless you watch their youtube video.

10 interactions feels like an arbitrary number and would be tedious to enforce (if it gets enforced at all and it probably won't). I see other big subreddits with the same rule, why not ours?

I say we just change it to no self promos. If your content is good enough you will be shared here. Or do what every other redditor does and say "My friend made this you should check it out!".
