Basically, once you buy your primary, both are unlocked and you can switch freely between rounds. Also upgrading one upgrades both.
So you can adapt more between rounds.
I personally think it's a fantastic idea and can't wait for it to hit live servers

Well, I’m almost level 200. I have every Rogue over Mastery Level 2. I playtest every day for at least 60 minutes and thoroughly review all of our changes, iterations, and community feedback. I suppose I play the game, yeah.
