Thanks for your questions! In regards to the first question we have a number of methods we use to prevent cheaters from impacting peoples games.

First we use a widely known solution called Easy Anti Cheat which helps protect a number of high profile games across the industry. It helps identify common hacks/cheats and assists us in preventing them from entering the game.

We don't however lean on EAC alone! We have other methodologies and technology which we can't really detail publicly that help us identify not only cheating but exploiting as well.

Finally we have YOU as the community! Our reporting function is a crucial component of us making your play experience as amazing as possible. We're always listening!

  2. It was a tricky ~2 weeks to virtualize the company but our IT team are superheroes. Its a scenario where everyone has to chip in to keep the train on the tracks but luckily we were able to ship Rogue Company on time!

Thanks for the question! We have a lot of plans for future Rogues to join the game. New Rogues will often bring new abilities, weapons and gadgets to master with them into the game.

Re Game Modes: We do! While we are keeping Demolition as our core competitive experience, we intend to build upon a robust library of game modes. Many of them will be limited time modes (LTMs) and some will just offer different or fun ways to play. We want to have a great core shooting platform for a lot of fun content.

Ah, one of my favorite systems! Yes, we have plans of adding leaderboards into the game. Right now we're prioritizing the features in Phase 1, 2, and 3 of our road map. Once we have early concepts of our Leaderboards I'll make sure to spoil it. :P

There IS currently skill-based matchmaking. We have a very mature system that is based on a highly modified Trueskill system. There are a lot of nuances with our system such as we try to matchmake new players together (those that are < level 10) regardless of their current rating. We will be creating a blog post concerning our MM in the near future, stay tuned!

TLDR; The goal of our matchmaker is to create fair, fun, and competitive matches!

As time goes on we will be continually improving the balance of the game and responding to player feedback around the Meta. While a complete rework will be very rare, tweaking can and will happen. (Very similar to our other games we have worked on like Smite).

Thanks for the question! Right now we're focused on our core modes that are 4v4. We are testing various modes with varying team sizes such as Wingman that is 2v2.

It's something we are looking into, for sure! No set plans to report at this time, but we've had a lot of designs ranging from end of match MVP showcases to highlight reels that show the best plays from your team. Nothing set in stone yet - we'll update as it solidifies more.

Great Question! Let me lay out our very near term plans and then we will have a common language to work from.

Next week we will be rolling out our second patch to the existing software that we call version 47. This should fix a number of issues with the social (i.e. friend, parties, etc), map issues that have been found by the community, UI HUD issues, and other bugs.

The week of August 10th we will have a version that will be released (48) that will have even more bug fixes, deserter and AFK penalty system, colorblind settings, Switch GYRO improvements, and a few more misc features. A new map called VICE will be released also!

Version 49 should be released on September 2nd and will complete Phase 1!
