During the quest, it is made clear that Zamorak has fortified his position at the sword of edicts. In Autumn we are getting the "Wilderness Reborn", which I think most people interpreted to mean Jagex sorting the PVP griefing issue in the Wildy. Whilst that is certainly going to be looked at, I think that ED4 will take place in a portion of the Wildy and will warrant a major rework of the existing/surrounding environments due to how dated they are.
I believe the first portion of this will occur with ED4 next month and be finished in Autumn as per the roadmap.
