With today’s update players are no longer allowed to place cannons in popular hunter areas as an attempt to prevent griefing. Indirectly Jagex has managed to do the complete opposite of what they set out to do. Cannons were used to protect one’s hunter spot from griefers.
If they actively wanted to stop griefing, they should have disabled mithril seeds being placed in hunter locations, not cannons.
