Releasing this game on steam was potentially one of the best things to happen in a long time.

I spent the last 5 hours helping new players in burthorpe and running them to the grand exchange and helping them setup their layouts and explaining how the skills work, teaching them to examine items for value to sell and what look out for with lures.

The amount of veteran players there helping was such a cool sight to see and the newbies were very appreciative and many said the community is awesome.

With how engaged these new players are I think most will stick around.

Time will tell, however it was the most fun I've had in this game in a very long time. Sometimes it's not the content that makes the game fun, it's the players.

Bravo.

Thank you for helping bring these new adventurers into game! We're really happy with how things have gone - particularly all of your support and helpfulness in helping those new players what can sometimes be an overwhelming experience for all the content we have in game!

Any chance you'll be sharing some numbers about the Steam release (if you haven't already)? Can't seem to find number of downloads on Steam, maybe missing it somewhere. The charts are not populated with data yet, will be interesting to see in the longer run.

Edit: nvm, the charts are somewhat populated it seems, so 9700 players at peak, is that using steam client only?

This is a good place to get yourself some numbers! (all the data is Steam-exclusive).
