Since joining the team, Mod Doom has done wonders to improve communications between Jagex and the players. I was especially impressed with what was said when he was a guest on the RSBANDB podcast (a criminally underwatched podcast if you ask me).

I do have one suggestion for Mod Doom and the rest of the Jagex team: make your livestreams more visible. There is rarely any mention of upcoming livestreams on the front page of Jagex's own webpage, it sometimes gets a mention in the patch notes, but not always, and there is 0 mention of the stream after the fact for those who missed it to go watch it on Twitch, and there is also a complete lack on any sort of link to the Twitch channel anywhere on Jagex's homepage.

I don't think it would be too unreasonable to expect to see it as news post on the front page, just like what weekly patch news posts get. Sometimes we get a pinned post on reddit, but not only is that a 3rd party site, but it is also not always posted there. Plus, even if it is there, it's easy to miss as there is usually 1-2 pinned posts there at all times and not always from Jagex, so it's easy to go numb to it.

Am I being a bit biased here? Maybe. After all, I almost never even go to twitch in the first place unless there's a previous stream I am aware of that I know is worth a watch (such as these). But I don't think it would be too much to ask to see these show up somewhere on Jagex's homepage

This is very lovely to see - I would also like streams to get a little more presence on the website but we do have very regimented plans for which rotating banners go where at the top of the website, etc. I try and get the broadcasts out in-game ahead of streams, and we do have them as VoDs on YouTube (simulcasting on Twitch atm is a no-no) but we generally only publish specialised ones, just so people's subscription boxes on YouTube aren't bombarded! Something to think about for sure. Thanks for this feedback!

Idk he makes streams super awkward and uncomfortable. Belabors stuff and takes forever to get to the point

He’s improved somewhat tho

Sorry to hear that's how I come across - is there anything I can do to improve?

Glad you saw and liked my post :)

one thing to note is that i mentioned the Twitch channel isn't listed on the website, but everything else is. It could simply be added here.

Also, maybe one suggestion would be to add a new tab at the top of that part of the page shown in the screenshot, so it would be "News", "Videos", and "Livestreams". That way they are listed on the website in a format that anyone can check to see if there's a new stream they missed the live viewing of and haven't watched the recording of yet, but without cluttering the rest of the website

Great points, will see if I can ever corral our web-wranglers to make those changes in the future, I like that idea! (Gotta update that Twitter... no, X, logo... sigh)
