[2020] Is the boosted progress reward from the last yak track supposed to only work on the first 10?

Having completed task 40 last time, 50% of the first 10 tasks is instantly completed. These 10 are quick tasks that wouldn't have been too bad without the boost. After that, the grind starts and the boost disappears.

I hope this isn't intentional, because it's barely been a reward like this.
