For those not aware because the stream was canceled and they didn't get a chance to talk about it, Mod Luma and Jack have been doing teases for Twilight of the Gods on Twitter this week. Mod Luma has been giving snapshots, one even showing the new demon model off in the background, while Mod Jack has been giving little verbal teases. Today Mod Jack gave a pretty substantial and interesting tease, for those that can't see twitter or don't want to click a link I copied the update below.

My notes for the topics I intended to cover in the livestream about the upcoming Twilight of the Gods (TOTG) quest:
This quest continues from and requires Extinction. Although Extinction was and is the finale to the Elder Gods and the EGWD, TOTG is like a surprise additional finale.
The quest leads up to and explains the Zamorak boss fight. We split off the quest epilogue and made it a miniquest which will launch with the boss (and require TOTG). This was to avoid the quest being uncompletable until the boss launched.
Events occur during the quest which you may expect to see reflected in the surface world. This won't happen with the launch of the quest (it's not something we can toggle on for quest completion) but you will see these events reflected in game \very* soon.*
Not too long after the boss launch, there'll be \another* quest and this one is where the hard break in the storyline occurs - that quest ("New Storyline Quest" on the roadmap) won't require Extinction, TOTG, or other quests.*
