I know Jagex typically tries to avoid making knee jerk changes to bosses so soon after release but in this instance, I really think some sort of acknowledgement of Vorkath’s lacklustre drop table needs acknowledging sooner rather than later.

To be clear, while I think Vorkath’s loot needs to be buffed in both normal and hard mode, the former only needs a slight adjustment, while the latter needs a drastic improvement. As it stands, there’s simply no reason whatsoever to invest the time it takes to kill the boss in HM when there are no exclusive drops and the commons don’t even come close to covering supply costs, let alone breaking even or making a profit.

Shogun (I think?) already mentioned the possibility of buffing drops on RSGuy’s stream, but it’d be great if Doom could let us know that there’s at least discussions happening about whether the team is considering changes.

Hello! Copying what I've said in a few different Community Discords and on X... Twitter... uhhh that: https://twitter.com/JagexDoom/status/1727044264511828110

Thank you to everyone who's been providing feedback around Vorkath and Zemouregal! We're looking at our options and I'll hopefully be able to share a blog post/discussion with some more info addressing the big topics later this week, or early next week!

Thanks for the response, but there has got to be a better method of communicating this information. That post has 500 views as of this moment. How is the average player supposed to see that? I'm only seeing it because I'm here which the average player isn't.

I've posted it in a few Community Discords as well, but I may make a post here a little later for visibility while I work on the blog itself. Appreciate your reply!

Is there any way we can start to see some of these responses in a more consistent and centralized place? Or is discord that place?

I know this is a tough issue already given the many, many platforms that you do outreach on (thank you, btw), but it gets tough trying to see if we are being heard or not when responses are spread across so many platforms.

It's a very valid point and one I wish I had a more elegant solution for! I just have to make a mental note that if I'm sharing something somewhere, I should try and share it everywhere.

There's a difficult balance between "Is this worth a post?" because on Reddit (for example) that then opens up the topic for comments and conversations that I may not be able to follow and monitor - especially when it's multiple platforms! I don't want to just fire and forget things, and I'm also very conscious that I'd be posting quite a lot of smaller posts on Reddit which is a bit of a cadence shift!

If only you had a website. Maybe call it runescape.com?

Oh but that has to be HTML'd and localised into 4 languages, and (should) be proof-read by our lovely Editorial and Localisation team!
