Maybe I'm getting the wong end of the stick here, but I can't be the only one who finds this jarring?

It stinks of nepositm and favouritism - I bet we already know which cliques are going to be favoured here and actually get heard - and honestly sounds like they're just outsourcing design ideas to unpaid volunteers. I get that close involvement with the community is a keystone of RS3 but ... players aren't game developers?

How transparent will the selection process be for the 'Champions' and their teams? Will they be properly compensated for their time? How much of an impact will the narrow slice of players that will be represented have on the game?

I find it hilarious that they say this is about improving feedback, yet they go ahead and LOCK the forum thread for discussing it. All the other threads in that section are unlocked (except for two gravebumped ones) - that's why it's called News DISCUSSION.

They know this ain't gonna settle well, that's why it was preemptively locked.

I've locked this thread because it's supposed to be there as a document everyone can view. It's a document that is referenced to in the news post.

if you want to discuss it I would encourage the reddit post (Mod bolton is replying there too).

For the location of the Charter, I'm open for suggestions where to move it to. I thought "news discussions" was the most fitting for the "document"
