Just thought I'd mention something I noticed when reading through the transcript for Azzanadra's quest on the Wiki.

At the part of the quest where you're talking to Saradomin, he asks you whether Seren sent you to him. You can choose to tell him the truth (that you are working behind the council's back) or lie. If you lie, this is what it looks like:

[Lie] Yes.

  • Saradomin: I am glad she has finally decided to seek my advice. What is your plan?

Nothing particularly special, he believes you. But this line stood out to me, because I remembered a very similar situation from Sliske's endgame that had a very different response. I looked it up on the wiki, and sure enough, here's what Saradomin says to you when you lie to him about supporting him in Endgame:

[Lie] I think I should support you.

  • Saradomin: I see, Tell me, Player, do you take me for a fool? I am known as the 'god of wisdom'. I have earned this moniker over millennia. Do you think you could lie directly to my face and that I would not know?

So in Endgame he seems have an almost supernatural ability to detect lies, but in Azzanadra's Quest we lie blatantly to his face an he buys it immediately. What's going on here?

This could just be a mistake. Maybe the devs just forgot that Saradomin can see through our lies easily. Or, as I suspect, this could be a subtle clue that the fragments of Sliske in our mind are improving our ability to deceive people.

Saradomin may have been lying himself when he can easily spot your lies. I doubt any god has a 100% ability to tell lie from truth, and the earlier call out was just bluster on Saradomin's part.

Alternatively... Saradomin: I am glad SHE has finally decided to seek my advice. What is YOUR plan?

So he might have recognised the lie this time, but is just playing along. His choice of words perhaps suggest this.

So, a couple other options here to consider/throw in the mix. I'm not gonna say what the actual truth is, mind, merely fuel further speculation...
